GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises all phases of housing management to include: tenant files, applications, accounts, certification and recertification’s, etc... on both Allegany and Cat-taraugus Reservations. Equal time at each site and/or as needed. 1. Develop and implement policies and directives of the Authority,

particularly as they pertain to tenants, homebuyers and employ-ees.

2. Performs professional staff (architects, engineers and contrac-tors) supervision involving the coordination of various projects to include contract negotiations, review of all drawings and specifications to ensure compliance.

3. Initiates addendum and change orders and submits to Board for approval.

4. Responsible for program development and the conduct of all projects.

5. Supervises the preparation of all federally aided project applica-tions and amendments.

6. Researches and interprets grant opportunity information and perform eligibility assessment based on research and informa-tion sources including direct contact with funding agencies.

7. Conducts research keeping abreast of all changes in Federal regulations and laws affecting the program.

8. Oversees entire budget to include: preparation, amendments and modifications.

9. Acts as liaison between Authority and local, State, Federal government and tribal programs.

10. Meets with tenants and homebuyers regarding input, program orientation, new applications, site visits, and assessments.

11. Review new hire application and conduct interviews as required.

12. Represent SNHA at tribal, city, country, sate and federal levels. 13. Prepares applicable reports to the Board and HUD. 14, Perform other duties as assigned. 15. Maintains a nest and orderly work area. 16. Have own transportation and valid license.mINImUm qUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree preferred of Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field with three to five years of related proven experience. A combination of education and experience equal to the above will also be considered knowledge of major operating policies of the Nation. Must posses good oral and written communication skills. Terry was the hus-band of Deborah (Grass) Fedick; father of Melanie Fedick, Kimberly Fedick, Stacy Ciccone and Sharon Kenderine; brother of the late Bruce Bettinger, Late Sandy Bettinger and Deb-bie Kroll; grandfather of Nichole, Joshua, Brittany, Mitchell, Nathan, Whitney, Courtney, Heather, Ashleey and Robbie; great grandfa-ther of Jayden, Jaden and Coltan; close friend of Tom, Fran, Brian, Dennis, Bob Williams and Charzell Haromon of Florida. Drew Earl DeGroat of Freeport, Florida, formerly of Angola, NY passed away suddenly September 11, 2013 at Sacred Heart Hos-pital in Pensacola at the age of 75. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Emer-son) for 53 years; dearest father of Cheryl DeGroat Maxwell, Robert (Kathy) DeGroat, Brian DeGroat, and Collette (Phil) Ruck-er. Drew leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, his brother John “Jack” DeGroat, his sister, Dawn (Lee) Web-ster, brother-in-law Joel (Kathy) Emerson, sister-in-law Judy (Bill) Paterson and sister-in-law Sue (late Russell) Emerson. Drew was predeceased by his parents, Earl (Katherine) DeGroat, in-laws Russell (Elizabeth) Emerson, and his brother Robert Charles. He was a Ford retiree and had been employed by Food Depot in Freeport where he was known as The Cookie Man. He could be found fishing or tinker-ing around most days. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Highland Hose Fire Company, 1 George Nablo Parkway, Derby NY 14047 or the Freeport Fire Department, 400 Market Street, Free-port, Florida 32439. TOWN OF EVANS BREAKS GROUND ON STURGEON POINT NATURE TRAIL

The Town of Evans officially broke ground on the Stur-geon Point Nature Trail on Friday, August 23, 2013. The project is being constructed on a 26.6 acre parcel located on the northeast side of Sturgeon Point Road which in-cludes 950 feet of lake frontage adjacent to the Sturgeon Point Marina. “It has always been my belief that you want to give something back to the residents, something that will both enhance and promote the marina while also promoting fit-ness and education. The Nature Trail project, along with the Sturgeon Point Marina, will serve as a catalyst for more tourism related economic development opportuni-ties” commented Supervisor Keith E. Dash. The project consists of a porous asphalt driveway en-trance and parking area, approximately 1,850 linear feet of 6-foot wide wood chip walking trails, 2 picnic shel-ters with grills and a gazebo overlooking Lake Erie. The construction is designed to protect the existing hydrology and minimize impacts to the wetlands and wetland buffer areas within the property. “With the presence of the wetlands, the use of the site is somewhat limited, so we feel this Nature Trail makes wonderful use of the site. We are excited to be developing this property for use by our residents, as well as tourists visiting our marina, community and region” said Sandy Brant, Director of Planning. The Lake Shore Boys Varsity Soccer team shut out Cheektowaga by a score of 5-0 on Monday, September 16th. The Eagles controlled the play from the opening whistle and were able to finish many of their chances. Se-nior Kenny Pierce contin-ued his impressive season by adding two more goals for his team leading fifth goal of the season. WITH BISHOP MALONE The first day of the 2013-2014 school year was extra special for Immaculata Academy faculty, staff, students, and friends as they kicked-off the Academy’s 85th an-niversary school year with Bishop Malone. A mass cel-ebrated by Bishop Malone along with Campus Minister, Deacon Robb Ciezki and visiting deacon, Deacon Dennis Conroy, was held in the school auditorium followed by a reception and campus tour. Fr. Ryszard served as the Master of Ceremonies. “We are grateful to Bishop Malone for joining us as we celebrate Immaculata Academy's 85th anniversary.
