Mother’s Day

Gathering for Worship (Greetings and Congregational Concerns)

11:00 am

The Worship of God

A New Day for An Old Way Submit to one another out of reverence to Christ. —Ephesians 5:21

Chiming of the Hour

Call to Worship .................Sing to the King ...............Worship Choir with Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee

Congregation Joyful, joyful, we adore Thee, God of glory Lord of love; Hearts unfold like flowers before Thee opening to the sun above. Melt the clouds of sin and sadness, drive the dark of doubt away. Giver of immortal gladness fill us with the light of day. Mortals join the mighty chorus which the morning stars began. Father love is reigning o’er us, brother love binds man to man. Ever singing march we onward, victors in the midst of strife; Joyful music lifts us sunward in the triumph song of life.

Sing to the King Come let us sing a song, a song declaring we belong to Jesus, He is all we need. Lift up a heart of praise, sing now with voices raised to Jesus, sing to the King.

Sharing Session

At 5:30 pm on Sunday, May 15th, there will be a sharing time sponsored by the deacons to allow individuals to express concerns related to the departure of Ronn McCracken. This is a time to express those concerns and any pain as a learning experience for the church and a healing experience for the individuals. Dr. Charles Dorman will moderate the session. Please during the session:

Do: Say what you personally feel. Do: Begin your sentences with I. Do Not: Engage in cross talk or arguments. Do Not: Speak for anyone but yourself. Do Not: Speak for individuals who are not present.

Thank you

Rose Winston says, “To all from KBC and old friends too, who sent cards and best wishes while I was in rehab. I am home and that makes anyone feel better. Thank you so much and God bless.” The card is on the bulletin board in the Education Building.

Also, if you have a change in the schedule for the children’s nursery or children’s church, please contact the monthly coordinator so that the change can be made prior to the printing of the worship bulletin. However, any permanent changes in the schedule should continue to be handled by the lead coordinator.

Thank you for all your help.

Attention KBC Parents: If you have a child participating in children’s worship, please make sure they are picked up at the end of the church service by a parent or adult.
