Soup and Salad Fundraiser - The Faith Challenger’s Sunday School class will be hosting a soup and salad luncheon fundraiser today in the FLC immediately following worship. Tickets are $5.00.

Deacon’s Meeting - Today at 6:00 pm in the Conference Room.

Faith Expressions Rehearsals will begin today at 5:00 pm.

Cemetery Committee Meeting - Monday, September 19th at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room.

Fall Senior Adult Rally - Tuesday, September 20th at Wake Crossroads Baptist Church.

Finance Committee Meeting - Tuesday, September 20th at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

American Legion Meeting - Tuesday, September 20th at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room.

Discipleship Team Meeting - Tuesday, September 20th at 7:00 pm in the Faith Challenger’s classroom. CMT Meeting - Tuesday, September 20th at 7:30 pm in the Library.

“Outlive Your Life,” cottage Bible study will start September 20th instead of the 13th. Please contact Sharon Roach or Cynthia Peterson for more information.

Worship Team Meeting - Thursday, September 22nd at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. This meeting is for all past and present worship team members. Our topics of discussion will include: Christmas 2011 and Worship Team organization.

Knightdale Candidate’s Forum - Thursday, September 22nd from 7:00 - 9:00 pm in the KBC Fellowship Hall.

Kids Night Out - Friday, September 23rd from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.

Mission Trip Scheduled - Saturday, September 24th we will meet at the church at 7:00 am to go to the Kennedy Home at the Baptist Children’s Homes in Kinston for a workday. All kinds of work projects are available. It will be a great day of fellowship, work and food. There will also be a prayer walk throughout the day. We will return to KBC mid to late afternoon. This is open to all ages - please contact Jim Farrington for more information.

End of Summer Retreat to Carowinds - The youth will be leaving for Carowinds Saturday, September 24th at 6:00 am and return by 10:00 pm. Please see Terri Lucas for more information.

Meet-N-Eat - Thursday, September 29th at 7:00 pm at IHOP.

Homecoming is Sunday, October 2nd. Rev. Jeff Roberts will be the guest speaker. Invite your friends and neighbors! There will be a covered dish lunch after worship in the Family Life Center, so bring your favorite covered dish

or two to share.

HVAC - The HVAC is paid for, however, the funds to finish paying for the HVAC were taken from other resources and this money needs to be put back. Your help is needed, so please continue to make your donations to help pay for the HVAC. Thank you for all you do for KBC!

Equipment Needed - Properties is in need of donations of used, but working, lawn equipment; lawn mowers, weed eaters, leaf blowers, etc. Please see Sam Maise if you have equipment to donate.

Clean-up Day - Saturday, October 1st, beginning at 8:00 am, the Properties Committee is having a clean-up and clean-out day before Homecoming. We need your help, so please come help clean our church!

Wednesday Dessert Fellowship - There will be a Dessert Fellowship offered on Wednesday evenings in the Fellowship Hall from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Desserts and coffee will be served. Please note that this is not a Bible study group, but a time to fellowship and get to know one another.

Fortress In Concert

Come see this southern gospel group tonight at 7:00 pm in the church sanctuary. A love offering will be received and a “bring a dessert fellowship” will follow the concert.

Attention KBC Parents: If you have a child participating in children’s worship, please make sure they are picked up at the end of the church service by a parent or adult. The children’s worship leaders will only allow children to be picked up by a parent or adult from the nursery, toddler, 2-3 year old, 4-5 year old, or 6-7 year old classrooms. We love our children at KBC and want to ensure their safety!
