Transcript of KBC Worship Bulletin March 11th 2012
God made the Sabbath holy and gave it to all as a gift. He invites us to lay aside our work and worries, to trust that because he is in control, we’re free to rest and worship. Welcome!
Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus

Announcements
Your Annie Armstrong and/or CBF Global Missions Easter Offerings will be accepted throughout the month of March. Envelopes for both Missions can be found in your bulletin. KBC has started a “Backpack Buddies” ministry at Knightdale Elementary School. We provide a plastic bag filled with food items to help get a hungry child through the weekend who might not otherwise get a meal until they return to school again on Monday morning. Please help us with this ministry by contributing food items to help a hungry child in our town. Large, clear plastic bins are located in the Vestibule, Education Bldg., Fellowship Hall and outside the elevator in the Family Life Center to place your food donations. Grocery Items Needed: granola bars; macaroni and cheese (easy mac or boxed); applesauce; cans of corn, green beans, peas, and carrots; Pop-Tarts; individual boxes of cereal (one serving size); peanut butter; jelly; canned fruits; boxed pasta; plastic jars of pasta sauce; canned pasta like Chef Boyardee or Spaghettios. Please no glass containers due to the possibility of breakage and if you can find any of these items in plastic containers instead of cans that would be great as well. For those of you who use coupons, there are pink plastic boxes in many S.S. classes that can store your collected coupons for placement into a black and white “Master Coupon Box” located in the Education Building. These coupons can be used by anyone for purchasing items for the “Backpack Buddies” program. Thank you! Deacon’s Meeting - Today at 5:00 pm in the Conference Room. Also, if you have a change in the schedule for the children’s nursery or children’s church, please contact the monthly coordinator so that the change can be made prior to the printing of the worship bulletin. Thank you for all your help.
Attention KBC Parents: If you have a child participating in children’s worship, please make sure they are picked up at the end of the church service by a parent or adult. The children’s worship leaders will only allow children to be picked up by a parent or adult from the nursery, toddler, 2-3 year old, 4-5 year old, or 6-7 year old classrooms.
