Announcements

Special Lenten Services - Every Wednesday through Easter the Adult Bible Study will shift to a Wednesday night Worship Service for the Season of Lent. Each service will begin at 6:45 pm and will be held in the Sanctuary. Dr. Dorman will be leading us in a study of the “Seven Last Words of Christ From the Cross.” Please plan now to attend these special worship opportunities as we prepare to celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Spring Mission Project - The GA’s are beginning a new spring mission project. They will be collecting old, small flower pots that they will decorate and fill with spring flowers to be delivered to our shut-ins. The flower pots do not have to be new. They will be decorating them with paint, rub-on transfers and ribbons. Please watch for the collection box in the Education Building. Christian Yin Yoga Class - There will be a Yin Yoga class every Tuesday night until May 24th in the Fellowship Hall. Please come and bring your friends. The classes will be from 7:00 pm until 8:15 pm. Baby Shower - You’re invited to a baby shower for Melissa Abshire today in the Fellowship Hall from 2:00 - 3:30 pm. YMT/Parent Meeting - Today at 12:15 pm in the Conference Room. Blood Drive - Today from 12:30 - 5:00 pm in the FLC. Deacon’s Meeting - Today at 6:00 pm in the Conference Room. TwoGreen Thumbs Garden Club - Monday, April 11th at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Angelic Ministers Meeting - Tuesday, April 12th at 7:00 pm. Philathea Sunday School Class Meeting - Thursday, April 14th at 10:00 am. Car Wash - Saturday, April 16th at Crescent State Bank in Knightdale from 10:00 am - 2:30 pm. All donations go to Relay for Life. Easter Cantata - Sunday, April 17th at 11:00 am. “Look to the Lamb” presented by the Knightdale Baptist Church Worship Choir with Edith Tew narrating. Missions and Ministry Fair - Sunday, April 17th at 12:15 pm in the Family Life Center. Are you sure of the KBC resources and connections? Do you know everything this church does in the way of ministry and missions here at home? Are you baffled as to how your own talents might fit in with the KBC fellowship, ministries, and mission projects? Come take the surveys and deliver to us the desires of YOUR HEART for the work at KBC! Come break bread with us! Come to the Missions and Ministry Fair and learn about our productive and busy fellowship here at KBC!! We will have representatives present from many groups within our church, as well as representatives from our Connections at Raleigh Baptist Association, Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, and The Baptist Foundation. Discipleship Team - Everyone is invited to the Missions and Ministry Fair on April 17, 2011. Please plan to come and tell us what adult and youth offerings you would like to see in Wednesday Night and Sunday Night programming over the next TWO YEARS!! Plans for the fall include a study of the history of the Baptist Faith, the history of NC Baptists, the History of KBC, and the reality of where KBC is connected today. Please give us your own needs and wants in the way of programming. Quarterly Business Conference - Sunday, April 17th at 6:00 pm. Cemetery Committee Meeting - Monday, April 18th at 7:00 pm.

Finance Committee Meeting - Tuesday, April 19th at 7:00 pm Children’s Easter Egg Hunt - Saturday, April 23rd at 10:00 am. Candy is needed for the Children’s Easter Egg Hunt. Your candy donations can be dropped off in the Conference Room on the back table. Please remember no chocolate or peanut butter in the candy! Benevolence - If you would like to make a contribution toward Benevolence to help people in our community, please write Benevolence on your contribution envelope and place it in the offering plate. Easter Flowers - It is time to order Easter Flowers! See the insert in today’s bulletin. Baby Dedication is scheduled for Sunday, May 8th. If you would like to have your baby dedicated, please contact the church office. We would like to have a picture of your child, as well as their full name.

Attention KBC Parents: If you have a child participating in children’s worship, please make sure they are picked up at the end of the church service by a parent or adult. The children’s worship leaders will only allow children to be picked up by a parent or adult from the nursery, toddler, 2-3 year old, 4-5 year old, or 6-7 year old classrooms. We love our children at KBC and want to ensure their safety!
