Food Pantry Sunday
Today is Food Pantry Sunday, so don’t forget your food pantry donations! Supporting our local Food Pantry is an on-going mission project of the Angelic Ministers. Food collection barrels are located in the education building for you to place your food donations. The following is a shopping list that you can cut out and take with you shopping. KUMC is very specific in what they give out though, so make sure you purchase only what is on the list.

We have an on-going need for canned food items for our food pantry. Everyone’s help is needed to feed the food insecure in our community. Please take the following list with you next time you shop. No XL items please.

80 bags/week are given out which contain 3 meats, 3 starches, 3
vegetables, and 1 fruit/dessert.
The Church Office will be closed Monday, May 30 in observance of Memorial Day. Properties Committee Meeting - Thursday, June 2nd at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. Graduation Sunday is June 5th. We need all information on the graduates by Wednesday, June 1st. High School graduates we need: the school you are graduating from and any future plans. College graduates we need: the school you are graduating from and degree(s) received. YMT Meeting - Sunday, June 5th at 12:15 pm in the Conference Room.
The church family is invited to a bridal shower for Amanda Jackson, bride-elect of David Marron, on Sunday, June 5th from 2:00 - 3:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall - given by friends. Philathea Sunday School Class Meeting - Thursday, June 9th at 10:00 am in the Conference Room. YMT Mission Trip Meeting - Thursday, June 9th at 6:30 pm in the Conference Room. Angelic Ministers Meeting - Tuesday, June 14th at 7:00 pm.

Free hot dog supper with all the fixin's, kettle chips and baked beans - beginning at 5:30 pm. We need a head count, so please complete the “Welcome Guest” slip
and drop it in the offering plate to make your reservation or call the church office by Tuesday, May 31st. Make sure to write your name on the slip. Sharing of mission projects will begin at 6:30 pm. Summer programs wil l begin the following Wednesday, June 8th.

Please note: If for some reason you are not available to help on the day that you volunteered to work, we ask that you please don’t forget to find a replacement for yourself so there is adequate coverage during the worship service. Also, if you have a change in the schedule for the children’s nursery or children’s church, please contact the monthly coordinator so that the change can be made prior to the printing of the worship bulletin. However, any permanent changes in the schedule should continue to be handled by the lead coordinator.

Attention KBC Parents: If you have a child participating in children’s worship, please make sure they are picked up at the end of the church service by a parent or adult. The children’s worship leaders will only allow children to be picked up by a parent or adult from the nursery, toddler, 2-3 year old, 4-5 year old, or 6-7 year old classrooms. We love our children at KBC and want to ensure their safety!
