50+ is a social for paris-hioners 50 and over, mee-tings are every second Thursday of the month in the

friendships with members of our parish communities.

In May 2019 Our Lady’s Rosary Makers of SFC

sent 590 rosaries to OLRM Mission Department.

These were forwarded to Fr. David Okullu of the

Immaculate Heart of Mary parish established in

1950 by the Comboni Missionaries of the Sacred

Heart of Jesus in Rome, now part of the Archdio-

cese of Gulu in Northern Uganda. The parish runs

17 Catholic schools containing 13,000 children be-

tween the ages of 4 and 17. Father David expressed

his deep appreciation for the rosaries which he said

assists them in spreading devotion to our Blessed

Mother among the very young. -Barbara
