Did you know that some people believe that the coconut palm in

Pygmy Marmosets are one of the smallest primates in the rainforest, in fact the smallest monkey in the world! They have a body length between 12 and 15 cm. A height between 17 and 23 cm. they weigh between 100 and 125g.

Their fur is tawny in colours and they have a ringed tail that

is at least the length of its

body. Most of their lives are

spent up in the trees and rarely

are on the ground. Their

colouring provides them to camouflage.

This monkey has a specialized

diet of gum.

Did you know that the Pygmy Marmoset

can jump as far as 16 feet? They are only the size of a

fool grown human finger!

The Bengal tiger is a mammal. Did you know that the Bengal tiger capable of killing animals over twice its

size? The Bengal tiger is a carnivore, in other words a meat eater. Bengal tigers hunt big animals such as pigs, deer, antelopes and buffalo for their diet. A

male tiger can range up to the size of about 3 meters and the female can grow up to the size of 2.7 meters. The male can weigh up to 225kg and the female can

weigh 135kg. The Bengal tigers coat is a reddish orange colour with narrow black, grey or brown

stripes and icy blue eyes that will freeze you in fear!

Giant bamboo plants can grow up to 9 inches a day.
