Steps: Pre-Listening 1. Show pupils some toy cars. The teacher asks a question. 2. Show pictures of five cars (three Hybrid cars and two traditional cars, all unlabelled). 3. Ask pupils whether they have seen all those cars. Bring their attention to the Hybrid Car. Sample questions: Have you seen this car before? What do you think it is called? What makes it different from the other cars? 4. Tell pupils what are they going to learn today.
