Spotify’s campaign

Spotify campaignThe Spotify campaign used a multi-product ad to showcase new artists with the tagline across all of the images “did you find them first?”

Once you clicked the link, the ad directed you to an interactive landing page, complete with a game to work out if you knew these artists before they were famous.

They also integrated this campaign across other third party websites such as the Buzzfeed article: 12 Songs you’ll only know if you were a fan from the beginning. As well as this, they positioned the same campaign on a sponsored Twitter post.

Tracking and insightsTracking the effectiveness of the multi-product is simple.

We can use UTM tracking codes which can be displayed separately on Google Analytics.

This can be particularly useful if we’re promoting different products or services. The link with the most clicks (in comparison to the others) will prove just how interested your audience is, or which products they are most interested in.

For example for Bozboz, we could display an image for each of our services which can lead potential clients to a lead generation landing page. We’ll find out which service has the most interest through clicks and through sign ups.

The futureMulti-product ads are now available on Instagram. Simply set up the ad using Facebook’s Power Editor and connect your Instagram account.

We’ve also now seen availability to post a multi-product style link organically to your Facebook page. You don’t need to create a separate ad for it, it is displayed when posting a link. Unfortunately you can’t use different links on this way of posting but it’s great for user engagement and driving traffic to the website.
