Integrated Domestic Water Management Project
The Project Improving access to domestic water & sanitation facilities including:• planning recharge structures according to scientific estimation of withdrawal, •universalisation of sanitation •Promotion of sustainable technologies – ecosan and rooftop rainwater harvesting.
Location 2 villages each in Kolar and Mysore districts, Karnataka

What? •Opening of composted ecosan pit, constructed as a part of the Integrated Domestic Water Management Project implemented by MYRADA with support from Arghyam. •Increasing awareness on ecosan among villagers – talk by experts from Centre of Excellence in Ecological Sanitation, University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS). Organised by Arghyam, through its Research and Development Team.
