is always celebrated the first Sunday after Easter.
Divine Mercy Prayer Service 2:30pm, today, Sunday,
April 8, in Church.
Our Lord revealed to Saint Faustina His de-sire to literally flood us with His graces on that day. He told her: "On that day the very
depths of My tender mercy are open. The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment”. Check websites dedicat-ed to the Divine Mercy to read the powerful promises and the revelations made to St. Faustina
SUNDAY, APRIL 8TH REACHING OUT SUNDAY
STOP BY THE TABLES
Debbie Miller, founder of
HEALING HIDDEN HURTS, a nonprofit Christ-centered ministry for women wounded by abortion, will have a booth at St. Bar-nabas after all the Masses on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 8. Debbie will be seeking prayer support and donations for the ministry, and will also be available for private consulta-tion.
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF JOHNSON
COUNTY is part of a global, nonprofit housing organi-zation operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. They are dedicated to eliminating substandard hous-ing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitat-ing and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter condi-tions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, du-rable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of con-science and action for all.
VOCATION MASS
Msgr. Tony will celebrate a Mass at St. Bar-nabas, Monday, April 9 at 7:00 p.m. for an increase in vocations, for those discerning one, those ignoring God's call, and for all current clergy and religious. And since the feast of the Annunciation fell on Palm Sun-
day, its celebration was moved to Monday, April 9. And as Mother Therese pointed out, this was Mary's First Com-munion. So come and honor Mary while we ask for her intercession.

QUESTION FOR CHILDREN: Jesus appeared to the disciples even though they were afraid & locked in the closed room. How can you show Jesus to another person this week by how you act? QUESTION FOR YOUTH: Thomas didn’t believe because he hadn’t seen Jesus with his own eyes. How hard is it for you to believe in God without being able to see God? QUESTION FOR ADULTS: Jesus said “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe”. Give one example of how you will show your believe in Jesus this week.
