At first..• I showed this to my target

audience (a few friends and class mates aged between 16-18)

They described it as:• Too simple• Good ideas• Needs developing• No pictures so can’t visualise• Colours might not suit theme• Font might be too crazy• Forgot the spine for the CD cover• A bit boring

Then..• I showed them the pictures

which they found nice and of good quality – the clothes suited the genre more

• The loved the use of angles and lighting – it looked professional

• Anuli described the title and album name as “hard” (which is good)

• The audience loved the way the track list went around the artist’s face – it was “creative”

• The use of this pose was creative, fun and suited the genre perfectly

• People liked how the title hovered above her head

Showing them the advert• These were realistic and

a lot of people said they could imagine these reviews for a new pop song

• The background was actually another photo of the artist but with a faint filter. Target audience said this was effective and almost acted like it’s own filter

• Target audience said the use of the black border made it stand out and looked like an actual album cover
