1947 (concerning the designation of the controlled

prices of rayon fabrics) is partially revised, and by

virtue of proviso of Article 4 of the Regulations for

Enforcement of the Price Control Ordinance, this has

been, in lieu of a notification,publicly announced in

Nihon Sen-i Shimbun.

the Price Control Ordinance, the controlled selling

prices of dried cut radish (Sen-giri, Wari-boshi, and

others) are designated as follows, and the Price Board

1.(1) A area of this list shall be the area where the Ward Administration of Tokyo Metropolis is in force,

Hachioji-shi, Tachikawa-shi, Musashino-shi, Yokohama-shi, Kawasaki-shi and Yokosuka-shi.

(2) B area of this list shall be Kyoto-shi, Osaka-shi, Fuse-shi, Suida-shi, Moriguchi-shi, Toyonaka-shi,

Ikeda-shi, Osaka-fu Toyono-gun Shonai-mura, Kishiwada-shi, Kaizuka-shi, Izumi-Otsu-shi. Takatsuki-shr,

Sakai-shi, Kobe-shi, Amagasaki-shi, Nishinomiya-shi, Itami-shi, Ashiya-shi, Akashi-shi, Hyogo-ken, Muko-

gun Sumiyoshi-machi, Uozaki-machi, Mikage-machi, Hiroshima-shi and Kure-shi.

(3) C area of this list shall be Nagoya-shi, Seto-shi, Aichi-ken Nishi Kasugai-gun Nishi Biwashima-machi,

Fukuoka-shi, Yawata-shi, Kokura-shi, Wakamatsu-shi, Tobata-shi, Tagawa-shi, Naokata-shi and Iizuka-shi.

(4) D area of this list shall be the area where have been designated by the Governor of Metropolis,

Hokkaido and Prefectures, excluding the area mentioned in (1), (2) and (3).

(5) E area of this list shall be the area excluded those mentioned in (1), (2), (3) and (4).

2. The controlled selling prices of wholesaler of this list shall be ex store or warehouse of wholesaler, in-

cluding the charges for wrapping and packing.

3. The controlled selling prices of retailer of this list shall be ex store of retailer.

4. The controlled selling prices of producer shall be the amount deducted the amount for 7.5 per cent

from the controlled prices of wholesaler in E area.

5. The controlled prices of this list shall be for those which have passed the inspection made by the body

which have been designated by Metropolis, Hokkaido and Prefectures or Local Governor.

6. The controlled prices of this list shall be for those which have passed the inspection mentioned in the

preceding paragraph, and attached the inspection certificate to that effect to the container, and for those

which have not passed the said inspection or without the inspection certificate shall be the amount

deducted the amount for 20 per cent or 50 per cent respectively from the controlled prices of wholesaler

in area concerned of this list. However, as to the controlled selling prices of retailer, the said certificate

need not to be attached.

Sales terms, etc.

(1) The controlled selling prices of producer in this list shall be those ex factory or yard of producer, and

the controlled selling prices of wholesaler and retailer, ex store of seller.

(2) The controlled prices of articles having different sizes of finishing shall be computed by multipfing

the ratio of area basing on the controlled prices of this list. However, fractions less than 10 sen unit

shall be adjusted, counting fractions over 5 as one unit, but disregarding the rest.

(3) The controlled selling prices of this list shall include charges for wrapping and packing.

(4) The controlled prices of those without indication of description of products and the manufacturer, shall

be amounts 50 per cent is deducted from the controlled prices of those most similar and the cheapest.

(1) The standards of agricultural chemicals of this list shall be in accordance with the list of standards

which is attached hereto.

(2) The controlled prices of this list shall include charges for wrapping and packing. However, the con-

trolled price of pyrethrum extract 15 shall be that in case of selling without any receptacles.

(3) The controlled prices of this list (excluding pyrethrum extract 15) shall be those on which the name

of article, standard, quantity and name of producer are shown on the receptacle, and as to pyrethrum

powder, the time of production shall be shown in addition to those mentioned above. The prices for

those which do not indicate the above, shall be 20 per cent less than the controlled prices of this list.

(4) The controlled selling prices of producer in this list shall be ex store of wholesaler, the controlled

selling prices of wholesaler, ex store of retailer. However, as to pyrethrum extract 15, the controlled

selling prices of producer shall be ex factory of producer.

(5) The controlled selling prices of agricultural chemicals shown in this list, which are other than the

standard of this list, shall be 1/3 of the prices of this list.

(6) The controlled selling prices of agricultural chemicals of this list, which are other than the quantity

and receptacle, shall be calculated by multipying the prices of this list by the ratio for the respective

unit and quantity shown in this list.

(1) The controlled prices of producer of this list shall be for those in case of sale of those producted by

the direct by the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry to the Nippon Dempun K.K., and for those which

have passed the inspection made by the Nippon Dempun K.K. (hereafter called the inspection), and for

those which do not pass the inspection and do not undergo the inspection shall be deducted within 25 per

cent from the cheapest controlled prices of description concerned of this list.

(2) The controlled prices of raw starch of this list shall be for those which are sold without any packing,

and the controlled prices of producer and dealer of non-pulverized starch and " Ukiko " shall be for those

with container, and the controlled selling prices of the Nippon Demp,un K.K. of non-pulverized starch

and "Ukiko" shall be for those of contents only.

(3) The controlled selling prices of producer shall be ex factory or warehouse (including business office)of

producer.

The controlled prices in case producer sells articlesto the actual consumers directlyshall be the amount

added respectively by ＼22.20, ＼20.35 and ＼17.00 as to " Shojin," " Shojingomi" and " Namashofu,"

likewise ＼31.80 per 10 kan net containing in paper bag as to non-pulverized starch and "Ukiko," to the

controlled prices of producer of this list.

(4) The controlled selling prices of the Nippon Dempun K.K. or dealer of this list shall be ex store of

dealer in case other than the Nippon Dempun K.K. sell,and ex warehouse of the nearest port to buyer,

or ex factory of the actual consumer -or ex warehouse, in case the Nippon Dempun K.K. sell.

The controlled prices,in case of sales by the Nippon Dempun K.K. through f.o.r.or f.o.b.of the quay

to purchaser, shall be deducted respectively be ＼14.60 per 10 kan as to raw starch, and by ＼17.20 per

10 kan as to non-pulverized starch and "Ukiko" from the controlled prices of this list. In this case, the

loading expenses from lighter or ship shall be borne by buyer.

(5) The controlled prices,in case the Nippon Dempun K.K. sellat s3me place for the place where purchased

raw starch, shall be the amount deducted by ＼25.60 per 10 kan net from the controlled prices of this list.

(6) The controlled purees of producer for those with cotton bag shall be the amount deducted by ＼18.00

per 10 kan net from the controlled prites of this list.

In accordance with the proviso of Paragraph 1 of

Article 2 of the Regulations for Indication of Prices

and the like, the following designation shall be made:

The goods shown in each of the following para-

graph shall not require an indication as provided under

Paragraph 1, of Article 2 of the Regulations for Indica-

tion of Prices and the like:

1. Those goods designated by the Price Board Noti-

fication No. 1059 of December, 1947 which are to be

supplied directly to the Board of Trade, Special Pro-

curement Board, Metropolis, Hokkaido or Prefectures,

as goods for export, or for use of the Occupation Forces.

2. Of electric bulbs, those to be sold to the"Electric

Distribution Company in exchange for electric bulb for

use of customers supplied at a fixed amount.

3. Of the radio tubes for receiving sets, those

which are to be distributed to producers of radio

receiving sets in accordance with the designation of

the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.

Supplementary Provision:

This Notification shall come into fores as from

February 1, 1948.
