Coming Events!The Solemnity of Corpus Christi - 7 June 2015The Solemnity of Corpus Christi is a time of rejoicing and thanksgiving for the incredible gift of the Holy Eucharist. On Sunday, 7 June, there will be Solemn Mass at 6:00pm at the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist followed by a Eucharistic Procession through the streets of Charleston to Saint Mary’s Church, Hasell Street for Solemn Benediction. A Catholic Block Party will follow on St. Mary’s campus.

St. Mary’s Parish News Summer Masses: Summer is fast approaching and we are giving our choir a well deserved vacation. Pentecost Sunday was our last Sunday our full choir will sing until Labor Day Weekend. As is customary in most parishes, Summer is a time for beautiful, but simple liturgies due to the fact that many people travel during these vacation months. We will have our organist and cantor to lead the hymns and no incense. Thank you to our choir for all of their great work this year!

We depart from Columbia, SC on Mon., 21 Sept. 2015, and return Mon., 28 Sept. 2015. We will be staying in Philadelphia for the conference through the papal Mass on Sunday.
