Announcements

Don’t forget to Vote - Please prayerfully consider your vote today for the Pastor Search Committee! Spaghetti Lunch and Auction - Join us for lunch immediately following worship, then stay for the fun and fellowship of the auction/silent auction. Spaghetti plates will be sold at the door - prices are $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for seniors, $2.00 for children and children under 3 eat free. Special Lenten Services - Every Wednesday through Easter the Adult Bible Study will shift to a Wednesday night Worship Service for the Season of Lent. Each service will begin at 6:45 pm and will be held in the Sanctuary. Dr. Dorman will be leading us in a study of the “Seven Last Words of Christ From the Cross.” Please plan now to attend these special worship opportunities as we prepare to celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Spring Mission Project - The GA’s are beginning a new spring mission project. They will be collecting old, small flower pots that they will decorate and fill with spring flowers to be delivered to our shut-ins. The flower pots do not have to be new. They will be decorating them with paint, rub-on transfers and ribbons. Please watch for the collection box in the Education Building. Christian Yin Yoga Class - There will be a Yin Yoga class every Tuesday night until May 24th in the Fellowship Hall. Please come and bring your friends. The classes will be from 7:00 pm until 8:15 pm. TwoGreen Thumbs Garden Club - Dinner Monday, April 4th at 7:00 pm and meeting Monday, April 11th at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Wednesday Night Fellowship “Spring Picnic” - April 6th from 5:30 - 6:30 pm (Arrival anytime between 5:30 and 6:30 pm). “Spring Picnic” menu - Chargrilled Hamburgers and Hot Dogs with all the trimmings, Baked Beans, Kettle Chips and Homemade Desserts. The cost is: adults (10-up) $5.00, children (4-9) $2.00 and children 3 and under free. Maximum family cost is $20.00. Reservations/cancellations must be made by noon on Monday, April 4th. Call the church office to make reservations or complete the Wednesday Night section on the “Welcome Guest” slip and drop it in the offering plate. Make sure to write your name on the slip. Properties Committee Meeting - Thursday, April 7th at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. T-Team Meeting - Saturday, April 9th at 9:00 am. YMT Meeting - Sunday, April 10th at 12:15 pm in the Conference Room. Baby Shower - You’re invited to a baby shower for Melissa Abshire on Sunday, April 10th in the Fellowship Hall from 2:00 - 3:30 pm. Blood Drive - Sunday, April 10th from 12:30 - 5:00 pm in the FLC. You can sign up by going by the church office or calling: 266-2471. Deacon’s Meeting - Sunday, April 10th at 6:00 pm in the Conference Room.

See the insert in today’s bulletin. Missions Ministry Fair - Sunday, April 17th immediately following worship. Lunch is provided. Quarterly Business Conference - Sunday, April 17th at 6:00 pm. Children’s Easter Egg Hunt - Saturday, April 23rd at 10:00 am. Candy is needed for the Children’s Easter Egg Hunt. Your candy donations can be dropped off in the Conference Room on the back table. Please remember no chocolate or peanut butter in the candy! Benevolence - If you would like to make a contribution toward Benevolence to help people in our community, please write Benevolence on your contribution envelope and place it in the offering plate.

Attention KBC Parents: If you have a child participating in children’s worship, please make sure they are picked up at the end of the church service by a parent or adult. The children’s worship leaders will only allow children to be picked up by a parent or adult from the nursery, toddler, 2-3 year old, 4-5 year old, or 6-7 year old classrooms. We love our children at KBC and want to ensure their safety!
