What is Paintball?

• Paintball is a sport in which players compete, in teams to eliminate opponents by tagging them with capsules containing water soluble dye and gelatin shell outside (referred to as paintballs) • Paintballs are propelled from a device called a paintball marker(commonly referred to as a paintball gun). • This is a strategic game is played usually on the scattered field. • Depending on the variant played, games can last from 30 minutes to 1.5hours. • All players are required to wear protective masks, body Guards and Jumpsuits. • Game rules are strictly enforced by the game Marshals (referees) on the field.

Paintball - The Game - Rules & Regulations?

• The most basic game rule for both the teams playing against each other is that they must attempt to accomplish an objective without being shot and marked with a paintball. • The task here will be to Capture the Flag, where both teams have a flag each and the objective is to capture the other team's flag, located at the team's "base," and bring it safely back to their own base. • Enemy players can be “marked" (shot)by players in their home territory; these players are then, out of the game, • The teams can play upto three rounds if they plan and use the paintballs wisely. • Paintball rules are briefed to the players before every game begins. • There will be a Marshal (referee) inside the arena who will be controlling the match & the decision of the Marshal will be final.

Paintball Equipments

Safety Face Mask Masks are safety devices which all players are required to wear at all times on the field. These will be completely protecting your whole face Including the eyes, mouth, ears and nostrils.

Paintball Marker A semi automatic paintball marker (paintball gun) is almost similar to an automatic machine gun apart from the fact that they propel only paintballs instead of bullets. They work with the power of compressed Co2 & Air. The muzzle velocity of paintball markers is approximately 300 ft/s (91 m/s).

Neck Protectors To be worn around your neck to protect your delicate tissues on your neck from a direct hit just in case if someone fired at a very close range.

Chest Guard (Body Protector) Paintball chest guards or body armor is a specially designed padded body wear meant to protect you from the sting of a paintball impact. They also offer complete protection from direct paintball hits as well as paint splatters.

Camouflage Jumpsuit This thick zip on camouflage suit protects your body from neck to ankles by saving your valuable clothes from getting a direct paint splash event though the paintball splash leaves no stain at all on your clothes. Just in case if you got a paint on your clothes, it only needs a normal wash.

Setting Up the Paintball Arena

Arena Netting The Arena will be covered with professional paintball netting on all four sides. This is to prevent the paintballs that will be traveling @ a very high velocity hitting the viewers who wont be wearing the safety gear. The arena is built and ready to play @ the zone.

Inflatable Bunkers Inflated bunkers and natural obstacles of different types sizes and shapes will be set up equaly distributed in the arena for the team members to take cover as they play.

a) Arena space required a day in advance for set up

b) 10% service charges extra

c) All prices mentioned above are indicative & for budgeting purposes alone

d) Any change in the above mentioned costs would be post approval of the client

e) Any requirements that are in addition shall be in addition to this quotation

f) 50% of the Total Agreed Cost to be paid in advance and the rest on the day of completion

MOBILE SET UP

COSTING

Mobile Set-up Requirement from the Organizers

• A 10ft X 20ft Shaded Stall with 4 tables for the paintball gears & equipments with 4 chairs for the crew.

• One electric power point in the stall & one near the arena (to use the electric blower to blow up inflatable's).

• 12 – 15 strong Metal/ Wooden/ Bamboo poles atleast 12 ft high (for Arena Netting)

•Drinking water for the crew.

• A score keeper from the Organizer if it is a Tournament.

• Permission for nailing the bunkers to the ground.

• Arena space to be handed over a day prior the event

• Ample (minimum 6 halogens) lighting to be arranged if the gaming continues late in the evenings & throughout night.
