May 1, 2008 Dear Pastor, Thank you for your time and prayerful consideration of what God has called us to do in Western Montana. In September of 2009, we will have the first service of the Blessed Hope Baptist Church of Frenchtown, Montana. Frenchtown is located in what is known as the Western third of Montana. It is about 10 miles outside of Missoula, MT which has a population of 64,000 people. Many believe that Frenchtown will become a suburb of Missoula in the near future. It is a growing community in which life is centered on the schools. Frenchtown High School has a long track record of great athletics. It has won multiple state championships in a variety of sports. The emphasis on the physical maturation of the young-people has left a spiritual void. There are many that have never heard of Jesus Christ. Some have never even heard of a preacher. In this area of Montana, there is no Fundamental, Independent Baptist Church. We are asking churches to support us for 2 to 4 years in order to get this work established right. We believe that the church that is established should grow to support us fully in that time, with God’s help. By supporting us, you would be helping us follow the biblical pattern of starting a new church, and would free your missions budget in just a few years to take on someone else. We believe that America has become the most important mission field, because if our own great nation is not reached with the glorious Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, all foreign missions are at risk. Please prayerfully consider supporting this ministry. I have included a letter of recommendation from our pastor, our prayer card, as well as our testimony. Serving the King, Derek Loewen Isaiah 6:8
