  • COWBOY BOOTS "

Daddy Kerget had taken part of the Homefamily on a trip to Mcntego Bay. Suddenly hocalled to Charles who was riding in the backseat and said, "Charles, look quickly! Thereis the airport and a plane is just now takingoff. Four year old Charles turned quicklywith wide eyes to see a huge Jet lift gracefully from the ground. Then he turned andasked, "Daddy, is that the plane that takesoff to go and get cov/boy boots?"

Speaking of Charles and cowboy boots, heseems to have had them in mind for some time. One day he was wearing a pair that Tony hadreceived from a good friend in Florida. Mommy told Charles he had better take them offor he would fall and hurt himself. ButCharles hid behind a wall and kept them on.It wasn't long before Charles came in cryingfor J'lommy. He had stumbled and skinned bothknees!

Boys and Girls, God didn't make a mistakewhen He taught us to be obedient. Pray forall of our boys and girls in Jamaica that theymight learn the precious lesson of obedience.

    " DONOVAN'S TRIP TO THE HOSPITAL "

Just before 5 a.m. one morning Donovan a-woke with pains in his tummy. After questioning him we decided to take him to the hospitaland it was really good that we did. Donovanwas a very sick boy. Hours later he lay inhis little white hospital bed with doctorsand nurses over him.

After several days of treatment, injectionsand medicines he is feeling a little betterand today said, "Mommy, when they come withthe needle, I don't cry anymore and I onlyhave to have them for three days more." Wehope Donovan will be home for Christmas, 'Von'tyou pray for him?

" KEEPING THE CATvlP FIRES BURNING "

During Christmas holidays v/e hope to go tocamp and work on our new dining hall. It isa time of fun for the little guys too. We alllook forward to this "family" time.

    " HONORS FOR TONY

Tony won a free place - "Scholarship"for Wolmer's Boys' School, one of the finesthigh schools in Jamaica. He took the examwhen he was ten years old and was admittedin the "fast" or lA,form. He is doing agood term's work. This is the highest honorwork done by any of the boys of the Homethus far. May God continue to bless thislife! Bobby is to take the exam in Januaryand we are praying that he will win too, even if he enters in a B or C class. Thiswill still be an honor.
