PhiXippians 4^6 May 12 j 1957 MAY 27 1957 Dear Friends, This prayer letter comes to j'-ou and to a group of other friends whom we know have b^en interested in the work of the Boys' Home here in Jamaica. We are not only admonished in the Scriptures to pray, but we are also told that God would give us the desires of our hearts. Therefore we arc asking you to join in our chain of prayers that God might grant a special blessing upon the Home at this time. As you know, we have now paid sli.^htly over half of our mortgage on the Hone property. The remainder calls for a largo sum of interest to be paid every three months. It is our prayer that we might be re lieved of this debt as quickly as possible. Will you pray with us that we will be able to pay #5000,00 with the June interest pa^^nent? This is roiother of our impossibilities, and yet God has shown us in the past that He can do the impossible. If you will pled-e to pray with us, please si^^n tho little card and return it to us, Knowlege of your prayers is encouraging to us. Enclosed with this letter is a copy of the "Caribbean Challenge" a paper published by a British Christian Literature Crusade. They have featured our baby Tony on their cover this month and pictures inside, so we thought you might like to see them. God bless you as we pray and trust together for this payment. MAY 27 1957Dear Friends,

This prayer letter comes to j'-ou and to a group of other friendswhom we know have b^en interested in the work of the Boys' Home here in

Jamaica. We are not only admonished in the Scriptures to pray, but we

are also told that God would give us the desires of our hearts.

Therefore we arc asking you to join in our chain of prayers thatGod might grant a special blessing upon the Home at this time.

As you know, we have now paid sli.^htly over half of our mortgage

on the Hone property. The remainder calls for a largo sum of interest

to be paid every three months. It is our prayer that we might be re

lieved of this debt as quickly as possible.

Will you pray with us that we will be able to pay #5000,00 with

the June interest pa^^nent? This is roiother of our impossibilities,

and yet God has shown us in the past that He can do the impossible.

If you will pled-e to pray with us, please si^^n tho little card

and return it to us, Knowlege of your prayers is encouraging to us.

Enclosed with this letter is a copy of the "Caribbean Challenge"

a paper published by a British Christian Literature Crusade. They have

featured our baby Tony on their cover this month and pictures inside,

so we thought you might like to see them.

God bless you as we pray and trust together for this payment.
