Flexiform Business Furniture is a UK manufacturer specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of office furniture for over 40 years. A 72,000 square foot manufacturing base in West Yorkshire boasts some of the best manufacturing machinery in the industry, utilising the latest cutting edge design and engineering software. Flexiform have showrooms and storage facilities in London, Yorkshire and Scotland - this nationwide presence enables Flexiform to maintain the high levels of service for which we are renowned across the UK. Product design and overall product development is based in our West Yorkshire head office, where our teams of engineers and product designers work with our sales and marketing departments to produce innovative and exciting products.

Our manufacturing facility produces high volume runs as well as being uniquely well-positioned to manufacture bespoke products. PICO DESKINGA cost effective bench based system, designed to create large desk clusters using shared components. By sharing framework and other key elements, entire buildings can be fitted out quickly and effectively. The Pico desking range includes a comprehensive wire management system featuring integral cable trays, sliding worktops and innovative vertical cable towers designed to cope with the most demanding wiring and IT requirements. The Pico frame has also been designed to accept our standard range of screens.

JOT DESKINGJot is a premium level bench system available with a choice of three distinctive leg styles: our ‘chunky’ square leg, the slim and stylish rectangular, or the highly unusual A-frame design. Jot benches feature a comprehensive cable management system with both cable trays and cable towers, designed to handle multiple cable management issues. Jot is available as both sliding and fixed top options for easy cable access and maximum flexibility. SOLO DESKINGSolo is an Italian-styled, stand-alone desk with a cantilever leg that features an integral vertical cable management system. All Solo desks are supplied with a steel modesty panel with an integral cable management outlet, allowing cables to run from the rear of the desk, in addition to the integral leg wire management system. MEETING TABLESA full range of fixed and flexible meeting tables are available to compliment all of the Flexiform desking and benching systems. Meeting ends - which can be fitted to any of the desks and benches - are available in a wide range of colours and sizes. Tables can be round, square, rectangular, oval, elliptical or barrel shaped, and can also be made in a bespoke design specifically for your particular application.

range of features including post slots, hanging rails and internal trays. 8 different lock types are available, from the traditional key to combination locks, passkey locks and coin operated locks. All of our Lockers are available in any standard RAL paint finish with optional worktops for office-based units.

ACOUSTIC TAMBOURSOur Freestor range of storage units is comprehensive and flexible. To enhance the product range further we have introduced a series of sound-absorbing acoustic tambours designed to reduce the impact of environmental noise in the workplace. Acoustic tambours are available on 1110mm, 1200mm, 1322mm and 2007mm high units, and 800mm, 825mm and 1000mm wide units. All of our acoustic tambours are rated class C for noise absorption.

Sound affects us both physiologically and psychologically. Noise, which can be broadly defined as ‘unwanted sound’, can increase heart rate, blood pressure, respiration rate and even blood cholesterol levels. Pleasant sounds help create a sense of well-being, and the use of the acoustic tambour can assist this. When paired with the Hush Acoustic Back Panels (a class B-rated panel) the effect is even more substantial.

FLEXILINK 555 SHELVINGThe Flexilink 555 Shelving System is a double-skinned, full archive shelving system, consisting of end panels and an inset mid-panel. The 555 system is versatile, as well as being easy to specify and order. The vertical panels are supplied as either end or mid- panels. The end side panel is pre-punched for

shelf clips on one side only, whereas the mid-side panel is punched on both sides. Slots are positioned at 25mm vertical spacings, allowing shelves to be situated almost anywhere within the shelving. Backs are available as either solid or ventilated backs, the latter of which is ideal for long term archive storage.

FLEXIGLIDE MK2The Flexiglide MK2 sliding door filing range fits standard Fleximetric storage components. Choose from a range of widths in either 740mm, 1110mm or 1350mm heights. Units are finished in a choice of RAL colours, complimented by either MFC, veneer or glass

tops. Hidden internal insulation panels provide sound deadening, which help to absorb unwanted sound in the office, and reduces noise when the doors are slid. Ideal as a room or office divider, these sliding units are available with either plain or decorative fronts.

FLEXIMETRICThe Fleximetric range is Flexiform’s vertical tambour storage system. Designed with capacity and flexibility in mind, the system remains one of the most space-efficient static storage systems available on the market today, allowing for maximum storage per square foot of space. A combination of a full height unit with a maximum internal width configuration allows each row of storage in a 1000mm wide

cabinet to deliver 0.95 linear metres of storage. A 2200mm high cabinet delivers up to 6.65 linear metres of storage in a footprint of just 0.5 square metres. Fleximetric is available in our standard RAL paint finishes with a number of matching/contrasting tambour finish options, and is available from 1215mm - 2200mm high and 800mm, 1000mm, and 1200mm wide.

These ‘pods’ have become almost an essential feature of the agile, open plan, collaborative environment, and have a number of benefits over fixed compartment rooms.
