Freestor Specification

Freestor has been designed around a single carcass design – allowing all of the Freestor range to match/ complement each other regardless of the internal configuration of the unit. Creating a uniform look throughout your office.

Carcass AssemblyAll steel carcass’ are fully welded for exceptional rigidity and stiffness.Welded carcass - no joins visible externally on the carcass to the front or side elevations. 18 gauge steel side panels are non load bearing and are fixed to top, back and base to create a rigid box. Inner panels incorporate the 12.7 (1/2”) slot centres to fit full range of internal components to The welded base is pre-fitted with height levelling feet to take into account any variation in the floor finish. Base rails are manufactured in 14 gauge steel.The back panels have flanges all round for added strength and are made from 20swg mild steel. All panels are made from high quality mild steel to BS EN 10130 powder coated post assembly.Units come with a steel top panel as standard - MFC tops available.As the cabinet is fully welded, cabinets can be transported assembled.Carcass can be retrofitted into another configuration in the future.

Hinged DoorFlexiform Hinged door storage units are based on the standard Freestor carcass, designed to suite in with our other storage ranges.

One piece welded carcass no joins visible externally on the carcass to the front or side elevations. Available in 1000mm and 800mm widths with heights from 720mm to 2 meters high. Fitted with high quality, self closing hinges with 110 degree opening for easy access. Doors are formed from fully welded 18 gauge steel with stiffening rails to ensure integrity. Hinged door units are supplied with a 2 point locking bar mechanism for security.Available in a selection of RAL colours. Compatible with our full range of storage components, allowing you to add shelves, pigeon holes, filing frames and other internal storage components to maximise your storage.Supplied with floor levelling kit.

Freestor Side FilerFlexiform Freestor storage units are based on the standard Freestor carcass, designed to suite in with our other storage ranges.

One piece welded carcass with no joins visible externally on the carcass to the front or side elevations. 12” drawers units option of bulk storage or traditional back 2 back or side 2 side filing. All drawers have full extension runners which allow for a 90% opening. Each drawer features full extension ball bearing runners with a load capacity of 50kg. Each drawer supplied complete with a label holder.Supplied with an Anti-tilt mechanism. Available in 800mm and 1000mm widths with heights from 720mm to 1300mm.Drawers are full four sided drawers used as storage bins as well as filing drawers. All locks are mastered and can be changed on site.Drawer fronts are formed from 18 gauge steel with smooth goose neck handles for easy operation.Supplied with floor levelling kit.

By combining storage types together you can tailor your storage to meet your exact requirements. Freestor combination storage combines our hinged door, flippers, tambours, drawer units into virtually any storage combination.

- One piece welded carcass with no joins visible externally on the carcass to the front or side elevations. - Combination storage cabinets are single skinned 20SWG with ladder tracks for fitting of our standard storage components such as shelves, pull out filing frames etc. - Available in standard widths of 800mm wide and 1000mm wide .- Available in 50 preconfigured combinations in heights from 1000mm to 2007mm.- Supplied with floor levelling kit.

One piece welded carcass with no joins visible externally on the carcass to the front or side elevations.Available in 800mm and 1000mm widths with heights from 695mm to 2007mm.MFC or steel top option. High quality shutters are made from hardwearing plastic and available in various RAL colours. The closure slam is made from aluminium with a magnetic strip no unsightly gaps are visible when the doors are closed. All tambours are lockable (master key option available) with a claw type lock and inset handle.All locks are mastered and can be changed on site.Supplied with floor levelling kit.

Lockers can include post slots, internal trays, name holders, compartment numbering, bottom drawers, and soft-close hinges. One piece welded carcass no joins visible externally on the carcass to the front or side elevations. Choice of 8 locks from simple cam locks, 4 digit combination units, coin operated return or RONIS keycard systems.Lockers come with master keys.All locks are mastered and can be changed on site.Doors can be painted various colours to create a vibrant display.

Flexiform exclusively offer a free filing audit* from our UK wide team of survey analysts. Our highly experienced team will visit your office site and assess the exact filing requirements of the business, through consultation with your staff where appropriate. The audit analysis involves measuring, categorising and evaluating all existing storage equipment and its contents. Then using a series of mathematical calculations our team will assess your current and future filing needs. Detailed CAD storage layout sheets will be produced identifying the files and storage to be contained within the unit. Our detailed report will show filing methods, unit type, components and file type recommended.

The audit can be an overall, generic filing assessment or it can be on a unit per unit, individual basis* This unique service helps you to specify the most effective storage and filing solution, to the nearest linear metre or individual member of staff.
