Hotel Transylvania is a 2012 American 3Dcomputer-animated comedy film

The film tells a story of Dracula, the owner ofHotel Transylvania, where the world's monsterscan take a rest from human civilization. Dracula

invites some of the most famous monsters,including Frankenstein's monster, Mummy, aWerewolf family, and the Invisible Man, tocelebrate the 118th birthday of his daughter

Mavis. When the hotel is unexpectedly visited byan ordinary 21-year-old traveler namedJonathan, Dracula must protect Mavis fromfalling in love with him before it is too late.

In Draculas lavish five-stake resort monsters and theirfamilies can live it up, free to be the monsters they are withouthumans to bother them.

All of the qualities that make the Prince of Darkness theindisputable leader of monstershis strength dominance

charisma and perhaps over-controlling nature-also happen tomake him an excellent hotel manager. The problem beginswhen his daughter Mavis wants to visit the outside world.

Fearful for his daughters safety, hes kept her in thesanctuary of his hotel her entire life, away from the torch-wielding humans he remembers so well. But now, on the eve ofher 118th birthday, he must keep a promise he made to let hersee the world for the first time.

In this film Dracula is a very vulnerable and empathetic

character.

Jonathan/Johnny/Johnnystein, a 21-year-oldhuman who stumbled onto Hotel Transylvania.

Jonathan is a typical 21-year-old human,backpacking his way across Europe in hiscontinuing worldwide travels. Hes confident, full oflife, talkative, curious and good-naturednot tomention amazing on a skateboard.

His motto is just roll with it. Now, in hiswandering, hes stumbled into a hotel fullofmonsters! To help him blend in (and keep themonsters unaware of the security breach), Dracdisguises him as Johnnystein,Frankensteins

supposed cousin.The contrast between this very articulate, rigid,

and controlling Dracula and this fun loving, out ofcontrol, great free spirit was the sell.

Mavis, Dracula's 118 year old "teenage"daughter.

Mavis is totally pampered by her father;however, she is headstrong and smart, and inmany ways, a typical 118-year-old teenage girl.

Shes grown slightly bored with the domain ofher childhoodshe has lived within her fathershotel and its grounds all her lifeand she wantsto travel, experience life and see the world. Shemeets a newcomer who could make that a real

possibility: but should she leave and riskbreaking her fathers heart, or remain, and breakher own?

Frankenstein/Frank, the lovable fire-hatingmonster.

Frankenstein (Kevin James)is Draculas bestfriend, an oversized working man with an evenbigger heart. Its been a long time since thismonster stormed through the countryside,

frightening villagers and constables alike. Now,hes an unassuming married man who loves hisadoptive family, Drac and Mavis.

Eunice, Frankenstein's wife.

Eunice is Frankensteins beloved wife.

What Frank lacks in forcefulness, Eunicemore than makes up for. Shes critical,

brash and can have an in your face

attitude, but underneath it all, shes aloving family woman

She is also called the BRIDE OF

FRANKENSTEIN''We wanted Frankenstein's wife to be

opposite of her husband, so we needed

someone to be brash and bombastic. '

Wanda, a werewolf and Wayne's pregnant wife.

Wayne the Werewolf is a miserable data processorby day and a put-upon father by night. He and his wife

Wanda have produced litter after litter of pups, and as aresult, he barely has the energy to get through a day andhas lost most of his sense of smell from a barrage ofpoopie diapers.

So even though he arrives with his misbehaved

children and pregnant wife; Wayne cant wait for hisvacation at Hotel Transylvania to begin.

He can let his hair down and just be himself, andmaybe even take in a nap or two. But perhaps the bestpart about visiting the cavernous old resort is that hemight just be able to hide from his kids for most of theholiday.

Viewers had a really funny take on the werewolfbecause he has so many children, so many litters that heis just a miserable beaten-down dad; he's always justslumped over, exhausted.

Griffin the Invisible Man

The famous Invisible Man has a name, and

itsGriffin. Hes good at lurking, and because noone can see him, he has a frustrating habit of

blindsiding his friends. Hes always ready with a

funny quip but while he can dish it out, he cant

take ithes really sensitive, especially about hiscurly red hair.

The Invisible Man is just glasses in this film.

Griffin is a title character and the primaryantagonist of H. G. Wells's 1897 science fiction

novel The Invisible Man. Griffin is a young scientist

who wants to create the ultimate humanoid by

creating a race of invisible people.

Murray, an obese mummy.

Murray the Mummy is a big bandaged guy,

whos actually larger-than-life. As a formerentertainer to the great Pharaohs of Egypt,

Murray is extremely likable, boisterous and

always the center of every party.

Living most of the year deep inside an

Egyptian tomb, every time he arrives at Dracs

hotel, he is ready to PARTY! Hes a ball of fun,and uses humor to avoid confrontations, which he

stays away from at all costs.

Quasimodo, the former Hunchback of Notre

Dame who now works as a gourmet chef that

desires to make a dish where humans are the

main ingredients.

He is always accompanied by his

pet rat Esmeralda who is known to sniff out any

humans.Quasimodo is a fictional character in the novel

The Hunchback of Notre-Dame (1831) by Victor

Hugo. Quasimodo was born with a hunchback and

feared by the townspeople as a sort of monsterbut he finds sanctuary in an unlikely love that is

fulfilled only in death.
