God our Father, in your wisdom and love you made all things. Bless our fathers who have taken up the responsibility of parenting. Strengthen them by your love that they may continue to be the loving, caring persons you created them to be. Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen!

In Tribute to those who have served the Spiritual and Temporal needs of Corpus Christi Parish

Over the last 80 years and for those who will carry on the light of faith in the future.

Celebrating 80 Years of Service 1937—2017

Our Pastors Rev. Charles Carey Rev. Joseph Harty Rev. James Cashman Rev. Robert Crowell Rev. John Murphy Rev. John Glynn Rev. Emmet Costigan Rev. Charles Cushing Rev. Msgr. Richard Dunn Rev. Peter Gillen Rev. Patrick J. West

We remember fondly and prayerfully all of the priests and sisters who served us over the past 80 years. For those who have gone before us in faith, we pray that they live in the presence of our loving God. To those still ministering, we offer our thanks and continued prayers for Gods Blessing in their ministry.

A parish does not appear out of nowhere. It is born in the faith of a people who live in a particular area. To the founding families of our parish, we owe a debt of gratitude we can never repay. They have provided us with a beautiful parish church and buildings that help us continue to serve the people of God to this day. But, more importantly, they have pro-vided us with a foundation of faith that continues to help us grow spiritually and become a Eucharistic community.

Priests never work alone, but rely on the support of the people of the parish to build a Christian Community devoted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the work of spreading the Gospel. To all those who have worked so hard over the years, we offer our thanks and ask for God’s blessings upon you.

The banner in front of the altar for our celebration reads, “Many Peoples - One Faith.” We have grown into a multi-lingual and multi cultural community. For all who have joined us over the years and for the faith you bring to us, we are grateful and we pray that all who come to us will find a home at Corpus Christi Church just as generations before them have.
