More and more flameproof motors It was one of the headlines of the last edition of this sheet, where we wrote about IECEx and Inmetro certifications for our products, we confirm now the same for the impor-tant update of Gost R. As you know it is the Russian flame-proof motors certificate and the relative installation permit Fsetan. For the first time the new certificate covers the whole Cemp production, meaning: cast-iron and alu-minium flameproof motors, flameproof motors with brake, non-sparking and mo-tors for dust and, absolutely new entry, now it covers also our pumps.

Manual release for motors with brake 180-250 This particular device, previously reserved to the motors frame size 71 to 160, now it is also avail-able, on demand, for the larger size motors.

It’s a mechanism acting on two pivots moving the mo-bile armature and releasing the brake disk. Dutiful compliments to our Engineering Department for the production and, in particular, to Diego Peraz-zolo for the intuition that led to a solution as simple and quick as efficient.

FEM 2D a new software analysis FEM is the acronym of "Finite Element Method" and it is a software that allows to create models of electric function of motor (and therefore also to foresee its operation) starting from the constructive data. The data that must be furnished are: constructive data (magnetic steel sketch 2D) winding data materials characteristics supply voltage and frequency

With these data it is for instance possible to: • understand what’s happen-

ing on the output when the magnetic steel gets changed

• foresee motor’s electric function in case of over-loads and calculate the right downgrade

• understand the electrical behaviour when stator and rotor length are changed

• foresee how motor’s per-formances change when the winding data vary

• understand the magnetic behaviour of the magnetic steel, also estimating it graphically, observing the distribution of the flow lines in the magnetic steel (see image).

Nuovo software di analisi FEM 2D FEM è l’acronimo di “Finite Element Method” e si tratta di un programma che permette di creare dei modelli di comportamento elettrico di un moto-re (e quindi anche di prevederne il funzionamento) partendo dai dati costruttivi. I dati che devono essere forniti sono: dati costruttivi (disegno lamierino in 2D) dati di avvolgimento caratteristiche dei materiali tensione e frequenza di alimentazione

Con questi dati è possibile ad esempio:

• valutare l'impatto sul rendi-mento cambiando il tipo di lamierino • prevedere il comportamen-to elettrico del motore in ca-so di sovraccarichi e declas-samenti • valutare l'impatto sul com-portamento elettrico di una variazione della lunghezza dello statore e del rotore • prevedere come cambiano le prestazioni del motore cambiando i dati di avvolgi-mento • valutare il comportamento magnetico del lamierino che

si può stimare anche graficamente osservando la distribuzione delle linee di flusso nel lamieri-no (vedi immagine).

The qualification of the harmonized norm EN 13980:2002 and of the document IECEx/OD005-1 ed.1 applied to the Quality System Management for the of the manufacturers of equipments for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, have been verified.

Audit CSQ - CESI A gennaio Cemp, presso la sua sede in Senago, ha positivamente superato l’esame da parte dell'Ente certificatore Cesi per il mantenimento della Notifi-ca della Produzione CESI 00 ATEX 030 Q (in ac-cordo all’allegato VII della direttiva 94/9/CE) e per il QAR IT/CES/QAR07.0002 emissione n. 04 (in accordo allo schema IECEx) .

Sono stati verificati i requisiti della norma armo-nizzata EN 13980:2002 e del documento IECEx/OD005-1 ed.1 applicati al Sistema di Gestione per la Qualità dei costruttori di apparecchiature con destinazione d’uso in atmosfere potenzialmente esplosive.

Quality Control has a new office Senago factory modernization works are going on: among the new realizations there is a new Quality Control office for half-proc-essed and incoming materials. All measure and control me-chanics tools proper of a met-rological room are located in the new office: calipers, mi-crometer gauge and inside mi-crometer gauge, alesameter, depth micrometer gauge, 3D control machine, etc. The relocation of the new of-fice, close to the acceptance area, allows more efficient con-trol of the material in entrance.

Nuovo ufficio per il Controllo di Qualità Prosegue l’opera di ammodernamento dello stabi-limento di Senago: tra le nuove realizzazioni c’è il

nuovo ufficio per il Controllo Qualità dei materiali e dei se-mi-lavorati in entrata. Nel nuovo locale trovano posto tutti gli strumenti di misura e di controllo meccanici propri di una sala metrologica: cali-bri, micrometri per esterni e per interni, alesametri, calibri di profondità, macchina di controllo 3D, ecc. La dislocazione del nuovo uffi-cio accanto all'area accetta-

zione, inoltre, rende più efficiente il controllo del materiale in entrata.

Global village Up to few years ago, Cemp International was the name of our company, then in various changes that we have had, the name has been simplified into Cemp but, never as today, that qualification Inter-national would been justified.

During the traditional cheers for Season holidays our President (Mr. Navin Puri) has sent us a whishing message by tele-conference during which he has found the way of thanking for the soccer t-shirt, with the symbolic N°1 and each player’s sign, which he had been gifted by our soccer team be-fore his departure for Benguluru. Cemp may also have lost the qualification of International but it has become an integral part of the global village.
