For a long time Biltmore Wines lacked a data repository.

Depletion data was collected by fax and typed into a spreadsheet.

Biltmore was trying to move from being a smaller wine company to a national brand.

Dimensional Insight’s Diver Platform was the business intelligence solution they needed.

The Solution – Sales Reporting

Diver allows Biltmore to keep all of its information in one place, such as depletions and shipments in the same system.

Biltmore uses Diver to track budget and to analyze sales and marketing activity.

Because several of Biltmore’s distributors also use Diver, it makes it much easier to collect data.

The Solution – Long-Range Planning

Diver allows Biltmore to focus in on varying time frames, from 6-month to 1-month to 3-year trends.

Diver combines with trends from Nielsen scan data to allow Biltmore to see products that have fierce competition and which ones dominate the market.
