Biltmore Estate, located in North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains, is a testament to the uncompromising vision of one man-George Washington Vanderbilt. What began as Vanderbilt's country retreat became America's largest private home: 250-room Biltmore House, taking hundreds of workers six years to complete.

Vanderbilt celebrated Biltmore's opening with family and friends on Christmas Eve 1895. The Christmas season continues to be a special time at the estate, with Biltmore House extravagantly decorated for the holidays.

During Christmas at Biltmore Estate, the halls and rooms of America’s largest home are accented with elegant décor. The extravagant ensemble includes dozens of Christmas trees, more than 400 wreaths and bows, 700 poinsettias; miles of evergreen garland; thousands of ornaments, tinsel, and beading; and a

iltmore Estate For Your Home Christmas Collection for you to bring a piece of this elegant holiday celebration to your own home.

To extend the life of this decoration, it should be displayed away from any heat source and kept out of direct sunlight to prolong the vivid colors. You may mist the greens every few days to keep them fresh and fragrant throughout the holiday season. Happy Holidays!
