Summary Hermosa Beach real estate activity in August produced a 35.29% increase in total sales and a 90.28% spike in the sales-listing ratio metric. On the downside the median sales price dropped 30.86% while net listings fell 28.81%. Year-over-year months of inventory data point decreased 33.33% from August 2016 to 2017. In July, C.A.R. reported “’As we enter the second half of the year, we are likely to see some slowdown in sales that extends beyond the typical seasonality change,” said C.A.R.
