The award was presented by LMOGA President Chris John. The award recognizes Mr. Glaviano's contributions to the Association and his efforts in the recovery of New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina where he was described as a Beacon of Hope. The Garyville Refinery was the last new refinery built in the United States since 1976 and with the expansion is now among the largest in the country.
