Mind Map

Page 4: 1. communication methods pro forma

Mind Map• Strengths of using this method

– You can show all your different ideas on to one page, which allows you to find ideas later on in the project. One more advantage is also that if you have some ideas that’s you are unsure about you can also not them down and use them if they are needed later on.

• Weaknesses of using this method– Ccannot use virtual pictures which would help you gather a better

idea of your project. Another weakness is that it can take quite a long time to create the mind map and finish it.

• Did you like using this method? Why?– I personally prefer to use a mood board because I gather a better

idea of the project by looking at the real images. However it can be sometimes very help full if you have writing to describe you images, which can help you late on in the project.

different variations and to gather a selection of different shaded colour to help with the project

• Weaknesses of using this method– Cannot get the actual font I would like to used so I

have to use this page as inspiration• Did you like using this method? Why?– Yes because it gives me many different ideas for the

font I will use and be able to choose the colour for it

Layout Plan

Layout Plan

• Strengths of using this method– Using this plan allows me to visualise where everything

going to go on my final product• Weaknesses of using this method– No images are cropped properly so it looks very untidy

and very professional• Did you like using this method? Why?– I personally do not like using the layout pan becausee I

would prefer to see my product completed to a higher standard and I would go straight to making my product

Initial Reaction

• I am going to create a pixel based based scrolling advergame for coca cola. It will be 320(H) by (480)canvas.

• I would make a angry bird style game, making the diet coke cans kill blocks of sugar.

document which allows me to look back at later stage to remember my idea

• Weaknesses of using this method– Does not allow me to write down a lot of detail

about my ideas• Did you like using this method? Why?– Yes because it does not take a long time to note

Sketches• Strengths of using this method– It allow me to quickly rub out any mistake I use, I can also

draw a lot better picture on paper than drawing on a computer.

• Weaknesses of using this method– Using this method take quite a while to produce, this is

because you are constantly drawing and rubbing out your mistakes

• Did you like using this method? Why?– Yes enjoy using this method because it allows me easily

draw images onto the paper instead of taking a while to draw on he computer and it not to look as professional as it does when I have drawn in on paper.

Formal Proposal• Strengths of using this method– One strength is that is organises all my ideas in to one

document, so it is easily understandable for the reviewer looking at my formal proposal.

• Weaknesses of using this method– On disadvantage from using a formal proposal is that using the

using the questions provided you might not be able to show the reviewer all of your ideas you have for the product.

• Did you like using this method? Why?– Yes because it is a very quick way of getting a rough idea of your

idea, this is good for you because you do not have to spend a lot of time creating the full product for it get turned down.
