Which Material Is Best For Automotive
Interiors?
Talking about automotive interior is one topic which will leave you puzzled. When you
want the interiors of your car to last for a long time as well as look great to compliment
your luxury car’s look, you have a wide variety of choices out there. But the ultimate issue
would be about “how long will this last?” the answer is simple... It depends on the way you
use it and the care you show in maintain it!
If we have to select a seat cover for the luxury car that we own the very first thing that we
see is the color of the material. Peach, light brown, chestnut brown, chocolate brown, beige,
crimson, burgundy, cherry red, black, Almond,
Antique brass, Apricot, Ash grey, Auburn, Arylide
yellow, Beaver, Burnt umber, Burnt sienna and
few other colors relating to brown family are the
widest chosen ones. The main reason for this is
just because they don’t show the dirt that easily
like other colors.
People are even bothered about the material of the seat covers, especially when you have
children you will have to worry about damages or dirt which gets dried on the seats if left
unnoticed. And in most cases a lot of seat cover requires replacement because of food
spilling and the damage that happens because of that. This is one of the main reasons for
people to normally choose leather seat cover over normal cloth seat covers. Automotive
interiors are always made out with good patterns that suit the interior of most of the cars,
but if you like to have something special you can always go for the ones with glossy finish.
If you want a very soft furry feel inside your car it is best to choose a cloth automotive
interior but, remember that you can easily damage them by cigarette burns, and frequent
usage will make cloth to lose its texture and will give a dull faded look. Cloth seat covers
can also get dirty very easily and you cannot wipe them out if you want. Where as a leather
seat cover is more convenient and
you have an option of cleaning
them often with leather cleaners
available in the market. Leather
seat covers are comparatively
costlier but the look and the
durability is also comparatively
higher than cloth seat covers. If you
want to improve the life of your leather seat covers it is advisable to use UV protected
window tinting, this is avoid strong sun race from damaging the leather and the leather will
stay good without cracking for a longer period.
If you are a person who likes to take care of your care on a regular basic it is good to choose
leather seat cover as they stay spotless when compared with cloth seat covers. But you
don’t mind much about the cleaning stuff then you can better go for cloth seats an change
them when they badly need a replacement. Usage of proper leather cleaner and a quality
leather seat cover is always a good chose for your luxury car. After all beauty is costly but
it can last long when you take care of it as it must be.
