Transcript of Welcome to World Class Allstars...Welcome to World Class Allstars Thank you for choosing World Class...
Welcome to World Class Allstars Thank you for choosing World Class Allstars as your premier all-star cheerleading
program. We are embarking upon our 4th competitive season, and we are very excited. World Class Allstars has become one of the top cheerleading training centers around. Our program has achieved hundreds of National, State, and
Regional titles, and we know we will continue our success this season. Our coaches have combined over one hundred years of experience in the cheerleading industry.
We have also been honored to receive bids to The Cheerleading Worlds, The Summit, The One, and U.S. Finals
Our greatest, most sincere accomplishment includes the social, mental, and physical growth of your athletes. We are continuously blessed each year to create a “Cheer Family” from the families in our programs. By working together, we expect
to achieve continued success!
Our gym strives to create competitive athletes that are not only superb on the competition floor but also upstanding individuals in everyday life. We create
leaders and build self-confidence in every single one of our athletes. We hope that when the time comes for our athletes to graduate and move to a new phase in life, they take with them the integrity, character, work ethic, and self-confidence they
have gained by being a part of the World Class Family.
Our Coaches do not create team placements based solely on athletes’ skill. We take into consideration their age, maturity, attitude, commitment, and coachability, as well as the specific teams’ needs. Our goal is to create level-appropriate teams that
work well together so we can have the most successful season possible. Team placements are not chosen lightly, as we want to give every athlete the chance to
grow, shine, and feel confident in their skills and teammates
In this packet you will find all the information needed to become a competitive all-star cheerleader for World Class Allstars. You will see sections on tryout dates,
parent and athlete policies, financial obligations, and other very important information. Please read through every section very carefully, and if you have any
questions, please feel free to contact us.
We are thankful you have chosen to trust us to take your athlete to the next level in their cheerleading career. We look forward to a great Season!!

VIEWING ROOM A viewing room is provided to watch your child’s practice. Although
viewing is allowed, the viewing room is not a place for gossip, doubting the coaches’ abilities, or coaching your athlete. These
examples create a negative atmosphere and are not acceptable. If you have a concern about YOUR child, please notify one of the coaches.
Practices can be closed for viewing at any time throughout the season when needed in order to retain the athletes 100% attention.
Please remember the all stars are not the only individuals in the gym during practice times. There are prospective all stars and recreational
class parents in the viewing room as well. We would like the atmosphere in the viewing room to be positive for everyone.
Remember you as a parent reflect World Class Allstars at all times, and we want to make this experience fun and positive for all athletes and
parents. Remember, parents are NOT allowed in the gym for any reason unless participating in a send off or have been granted
permission from the World Class Staff.
PRACTICE ATTIRE Practice clothes fitting will be
TBA Every all star will be fitted for 2 sets of practice wear and will be
required to wear the assigned outfit to every practice. Athletes will also need to wear white cheer shoes and have their hair pulled back at
all times for safety. In the event you lose an article of practice wear, you will be required to purchase a new one.
Be on time for Practice Being tardy will result in your athlete having to run laps. Your athlete will be considered tardy if they are not on the practice floor ready to
practice when their practice time begins.
No Jewelry Wearing jewelry of any kind could result in an injury to your child or to another. This includes necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, other
body piercings and ect.
ATTENDANCE/ABSENCE POLICY We understand there are circumstances that may be unavoidable, but keep in mind
this is a TEAM sport that is unlike any other because there are no back-ups or a “second string.” Attendance at practice is essential to the success of the squads. Every team member has a specified function, and one absence could disrupt the
effectiveness of practice. Below are a few guidelines regarding World Class Allstar’s attendance and absence policy.
1. All practices, events, exhibitions, competitions, and any functions of World Class Allstars are mandatory.
2. Competitions are held on Saturdays, Sundays, and sometimes Fridays and Mondays. Our competition season begins in May and ends in April. Any athlete with a regularly scheduled Saturday or Sunday activity that can not be missed
should reconsider participating in our program. 3. The following are excused absences from World Class Allstars activities:
- Family emergency or death in the family - School function that results in a grade.
- Illness is only excused with a note from the athlete’s doctor. If your child has a non- contagious illness, he/she is still required to be at practice.
4. The following are examples of unexcused absences: -Birthday parties, weddings, concerts, anniversaries, family celebrations, etc. - Activities including but not limited to: soccer, tee ball, softball, piano, band,
dance, etc. If a conflict with outside sports or activities arises, the athlete must choose before the season begins.
5. In the case that your athlete will be absent from any World Class practice or event, an absence request form must be turned in to the front office with proper
documentation (i.e. doctor’s or teacher’s notes) stating the reason for the absence.
6. In the case of an emergency absence, please contact the front office or your coach immediately.
7. Excessive unexcused or excused absences will result in the athlete being pulled from any upcoming performance or competition at the discretion of the coaching
staff. If the problem persists, we may also elect to suspend the athlete to an alternate position or remove the athlete from the World Class Allstar program.
SUMMER The summer months of June-August will be used as a time for the all-stars to
improve their skills and learn choreography. We know families use the summer as a time for relaxing and enjoying other activities such as vacations, camps, but
practice is still mandatory if you are in town. If you know you will be missing practice due to a vacation, please fill out an absence request form and notify the
coaching staff through one of the lines of communication.
There will be a mandatory choreography camp during the summer, and everyone will be required to be in attendance. There are absolutely NO ABSENCES at
choreography camp. Tentative dates are listed in the Important Dates section.
INJURY Unfortunately, injuries can occur in this sport. In the event that an injury
happens, the athlete is still expected to attend practice and every other commitment to the program (including competitions). All injuries must be documented with a doctor’s note. The athlete will be expected to participate unless a doctor’s note is provided or if the coach feels it is necessary for the
athlete to sit out. The athlete will not be able to return to the squad until he/she has healed 100% and can perform the necessary skills in the routine. If an injury
occurs, there is a possibility the athlete’s spot in the routine could be changed.
Conditioning
Cheerleading is a very strenuous sport that requires athletes to be in good physical condition. In our practices, we will include exercises that will help with flexibility, strength, and endurance. If needed, your athlete may be asked to take
an additional tumbling, stretching, or stunting class. These classes are discounted for team members.
Choreography
A detailed schedule will be given to you once teams are formed. All Choreography dates are absolutely MANDATORY. Choreography will be in June.
Competitions
The competition season begins in November and runs through April. Novice
teams will be considered limited travel. Prep and Elite teams will compete both in and out of state 1-2 times a month. Some upper level teams may travel out of
state 3-4 times.
Most competitions charge a fee for admission. We will send out event information the week of the competition outlining meeting times and
admission prices. All competitions are absolutely mandatory.
Absence from a competition will result in immediate removal from the team. No absences will be allowed during the week leading up to
any competition – NO EXCEPTIONS.
NO JEWELRY is allowed during competition, it will result in your team being disqualified.
Full uniform is required to attend awards, including bow and cheer shoes. No jackets, pants, boots, etc will be allowed on the awards floor.
Elite teams that do not receive Summit bids, along with Mini and Prep teams will be accepting bids to US Finals or The One in mid April.
This will not be included in the competition expenses. Extra fundraising will be required from all team members to help offset
these costs. Please plan ahead for this possibility.
Elite teams will accept bids to USASF Cheerleading Worlds (Level 6 only) and The Summit (youth and up only) in Orlando, Florida at the
end of April and the beginning of May.
Travel Information Travel costs are not included in the competition fees. You will be required to
make travel arrangements. We will book room blocks for out of state
competitions and inform all families as soon as the competition schedule is set for the coming season. You are not required to stay in the hotels that we block unless it's a stay to play event however it is encouraged. The kids enjoy being
together in one hotel when possible. There are special rules that apply to “Stay to Play” events and we will give you information if we decide to attend one of these
competitions.
