UNIVERSITY

1. We’re buzz-worthy. We’re No. 7 on the Top 10 list of most exciting cities in America.

2. Lake Michigan. Its beautiful waves and beaches are just a few minutes from campus.

3. Four seasons. Enjoy Milwaukee’s 150-plus miles of hiking and biking trails in the spring, a nonstop schedule of festivals in summer, glorious colors in Milwaukee’s 140+ parks in autumn, and sledding when the snow falls.

4. Love to shop? National chains as well as boutiques featuring unique and handmade items make Milwaukee a shopper’s dream.

5. Big bang for your buck. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by how far your money goes in the Midwest.

6. Just the right size. Big enough to offer urban amenities but small enough to get to most places within 20 minutes.

7. Good eats. Foodies can get their fill at funky cafes, ethnic eateries and restaurants that feature locally farmed foods.

8. A city of artists. The world-class Milwaukee Art Museum, the annual Milwaukee Film Festival and a thriving music scene make Milwaukee one of the 12 best art cities in the nation.

9. Sports, of course. Intern, work and cheer for professional sports teams such as the Brewers, Bucks, Wave and Admirals.

10. Young Milwaukee. The young professionals network NEWaukee connects thousands of Millennials, and the city is waiting for you to make your mark.
