Dear AUA members, Greetings from the University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia. We warmly invite AUA members to nominate students for the AUA Students Mobility (Arts/Sports) programme "UM Tropical Camp" which will be held at UM from 5 - 12 August 2018. The UM Tropical Camp is a programme to promote understanding about Malaysia’s biodiversity, environment, and heritage, by using its natural environment as a classroom. Besides cultural engagement with the local community, participants will be able to experience several sports modules such as archery, abseiling, and flying fox during the programme. Accommodation, meals and transportation (including pick up and drop off at the airport) throughout the programme will be provided by UM, while students will be responsible for all other costs incurred, including airfare and visa fees. Nomination: Each AUA member is invited to nominate two (2) students to attend this programme AUA members are requested to ensure that the nominated students are medically fit to participate in physical activities and are able to communicate in basic English Complete applications (Application form, passport-sized photo, and photocopy of first page of passport) must be submitted to Ms. Vigneshree King at [email protected] by 15 June 2018 Eligibility: Participants should be full-time students recommended by the home university Students from undergraduate programmes in any major can apply Enclosed: 1.
