Is it above choosing where to eat for dinner? Where to shop? Where to bank? If it’s not, it certainly should be. Not to seem overly dra- matic, but at the end of the day, there’s nothing more important than your health, which is why you should choose doctors that will put your health first. Trinity Family Physicians treats medicine differently; instead of being a number or a chart, you’re treated like family. Convenient to East Lake, Tarpon Springs, Palm Harbor, New Port Richey, Odessa, Land O’ Lakes and more, Trinity Family Physicians is lo- cated at the corner of Trinity Boule- vard and Duck Slough Boulevard, and offers a personalized approach that is refreshing in our current healthcare environment. Taking the time neces- sary to give each patient their best care, it is no surprise that the doctors and staff at Trinity Family Physicians have earned the respect and the busi- ness of so many patients in and around our area. The Trinity Family Physi- cians aren’t just doctors, they’re my doctors. I count on them when I have a health concern, when I don’t feel well, and when I need answers. They are there when I need them, and I count on them to help me get well and stay well. Drs. Stephanie Eldridge, MD, MPH and Amir Shirmohammad, MD, MPH are a husband and wife team that knows what it’s like to have a busy family lifestyle. In fact, they have two lovely daughters and another one on the way! High school sweethearts, “Dr. Shirmo,” as most patients call him, and Dr. Eldridge met when they were just 17, and they’ve been to- gether ever since. Both of them gradu- ated Cum Laude from Tulane University in New Orleans where they majored in Cell and Molecular Biol- ogy. They went on to earn Master’s Degrees in Public Health and Epi- demiology before earning their Med- ical Degrees, staying at Tulane the entire time. Serving Trinity and its surrounding areas since 2007, Dr. Shirmohammad and Dr. Eldridge have already met their goal of creating a new kind of medical practice as Trinity Family Physicians is one that certainly stands out from the rest in its dedication, commitment and follow-through. Taking Time With Patients is Important! Most of us do not enjoy going to the doctor. We want it to be quick and painless. We want the drive-through version of anything that’s not pleasant these days. However, if you go to a “drive-through” service for health care, where the goal is to get as many patients rotated through the door as possible, you’re going to just be a number. Trinity Family Physicians is the opposite of drive-through care. That’s not to say that they aren’t timely, or that they don’t value their patients’ time, because they do, but their commitment to each patient is something that has more value, and that’s something I’m willing to wait for. I know that when it’s my turn, I’m not going to be turned away when I ask a question or voice a concern. I’m not going to be told to make an- other appointment. Each time I see a doctor at Trinity Family Physicians, I feel that I’m being listened to, and that my care is their utmost priority at that time. One patient admits to driving more than an hour to get to Trinity Family Physicians, saying, “I am will- ing to drive to see them no matter where I move, and I’m willing to wait because it’s not that often that you find a physician that offers that kind of care.” Dr. Shirmohammad says, “We offer our full attention to each of our patients, and we don’t want to be rushed. While we have a goal to have each patient checked in and out within a certain amount of time, our true in- vestment is in the time it takes for your health to be properly evaluated.” Another patient said, “They are the absolute best! My wife and I were both looking for ‘old fashioned’ doc- tors, the type we had when we were kids that would take time with you and seemed truly concerned for your health. Drs. Shirmo and Eldridge were exactly what we were looking for. They have been nothing short of fantastic in helping both of us through our health issues the last several years.” A Knowledgeable Staff Ready to Assist! Helping people simplify theirlives at home, so they can focus ontheir health, family and work that iswhat this business is all about.

Sophia and her team are morethan thorough when it comes tocleaning. Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) PresentsInaugural 2015 Pasco County All-Star Football Game

Tony Dungy / Bobby Bowden /Tom Landry / Tom Osborne theseare but a few of the 80 or more leg-endary coaches in America who are apart of the Wall of Champions atFCA headquarters in Kansas City MO.These are coaches who have impactedthe lives of athletes for in the areas ofcharacter, integrity, leadership, andeven for eternity, for most of their ca-reers. And these are coaches whovebeen a part of FCA for 30 - 40 years.

FCA is a non-profit sports-basedministry that seeks to impact the livesof coaches and athletes, and all whomthey influence, for Jesus Christ. Thereare FCA chapters in all 50 states in theU.S., and in 31 countries around theworld.

Locally, there are chapters in 101different schools in the Tampa Bayarea, which include middle schools, high schools and colleges.

The ministry can be best de-scribed with the Four Cs: Coaches,Campus, Camps and Community.

    Coaches Coaches are FCAs ini-

tial impact each year. During the sum-mer before the school year begins, hundreds of coaches (and theirspouses) are invited to a 3-day getawayat an exclusive resort. These coachesare able to attend breakout sessions onmarriage, finance, coaching, and oth-ers topics. Many will enjoy some timeof R & R, sit by the pool, go to thebeach, and get refreshed and chargedup for the upcoming school year. There are guest speakers on coachingthe heart (the player behind the num-ber) of the athlete, which includescoaching in all three dimensions: phys-ical, mental and spiritual.

Billy Graham said, a coach willimpact more people in one year thanmost people do in a lifetime. Thecoach is the gateway to hundreds ofyoung people on campuses. This iswhy we at FCA put so much emphaseson coaches.

The second C is for campus. With a presence on 101 campuses inTampa Bay, we reach quite a few stu-dents in the form of school huddles, team sports huddles, Bible Studies, de-

votionals, gymnasium events andother meetings. The school meetingsare student initiated and student led. This gives the students who choose tobe a part of our club an opportunityto grow and stretch in areas such asleadership, public speaking, prepara-tion and other life skills. Studentswho come through the FCA ministryas leaders can put this body of workon their resume as they begin search-ing for colleges or careers. Its impor-
