For the past five years that Ivewritten for Neighborhood News andLifestyles my friends, family and neigh-bors often want to hear what my lateststory is about; sometimes they evengive me suggestions. By far, The Bestof Philly Cheesesteak House has beenone of the most suggested and eagerlyanticipated stories from people I know.Time and time again Ive heard praiseslike, I love Best of Philly. When youneed a quote for them, Im your girl!It seems once people have eaten atThe Best of Philly Cheesesteak House, they are not only loyal, but are so inlove with Best of Philly they wanteveryone else to know it! And Icouldnt agree with them more.

Owners Mike and Debbie Natoliopened The Best of Philly CheesesteakHouse in the Woodgate Plaza on SevenSprings Boulevard in November 2005.Over the past eight years customershave been able to count on the consis-tently delicious food coming from thegrill because 95 percent of the timeMikes the one cooking your meal.

The grill is right up front so Mike caninteract with the customers, and thecustomers can see their meal being pre-pared. Mike says that customers oftencome in and order their regular. Mikeknows exactly what they want evenbetter than the customers. Its notuntil the rare occasion that Debbiegives Mike a break from the grill that

customers realize they dont rememberexactly what their regular is!

When you place your order, youcan order like they do in Philly, withor without, meaning with or withoutonions. The main cheese Mike uses isWhite American because it melts in thebest with the meat, and makes thecheesesteak the juiciest. They can alsomake it with Provolone, or if you like itSouth Philly style, you can get it withCheeze Whiz. Grilled onions, mush-rooms, and sweet peppers can be mixedin with your meat; this is called theFlorida. If you like to add marinarasauce to your Florida you can orderthe Sloppy. You can rest assured thatyou will only get your sandwich on anauthentic Amoroso roll. The Best ofPhilly Cheesesteak House has their rollsbrought right from the Amoroso Bak-ery in Pennsylvania. They are so softand fresh; there is no comparison. Mywhole family loves the rolls, and notjust the cheesesteaks. Everything TheBest of Philly makes except their clubsandwich is on the Amoroso roll. Andthe 1/2-pound burger on an Amorosoroll is unbelievably delicious! The first

time we ordered burgers, we didnt re-alize they were on the rolls, so we werelooking for a typical round bun. Littledid we understand what a better treatwe were in for by having a burger onan Amoroso roll!

If you can tear yourself away fromthe Philly cheesesteak (we still alwayshave to order at least one in my family)I highly recommend the chickenparmesan sandwich on an Amorosoroll. I cant put my finger on whatMike does to make it so delicious, andwhen I questioned him about it I wastold I was starting to get into his se-crets; but I couldnt help but to try tofind out! I do know this the chickenis tender, not overcooked, and of verygood quality. The outside is crispy, yetstill feels light. It holds up to the mari-nara sauce, so when you bite into it youget both the crispiness of the chickenand the softness of the roll with theoozing cheese and marinara soakinginto it. A great tip Debbie and Mikeshared with me is to heat my leftovers,if there are any, in the toaster or oventhe next day with a piece of aluminumover it.

You Dont Need to Leave Trinity to Get The Best of Philly

Owners Debbie & Mike Natoli makeThe Best of Philly Cheesesteak House

A great accompaniment to yoursandwich is the fresh cut fries that arestraight from the potato; you can havegravy or Cheese Whiz on the side for

dipping. Because the fry order is solarge, you can now order a half-orderof fries or when you order a combomeal you can order a half-order of fries

and a drink. If youprefer a crispier fry, shoestring fries also areavailable.

Mike Hlady ofNew Port Richey hasbeen a fan of The Bestof Philly CheesesteakHouse for years. Mikesays, The quality ofthe food for the value isexcellent. There is nocoupon required; cashspecials are convenientbecause you dontneed a coupon, just topay with cash, for alarge amount of food. Its great food fast, butnot fast food.

Cash OnlySpecials: The Bestof Philly CheesesteakHouse has a couple ofgreat cash only spe-cials this fall. You canorder two 6cheesesteaks with oneFrench fry and two

drinks, or two French fries and nodrinks for only $10.99. Or you canorder two 6 cheesesteaks, oneorder of wings and one French fry for

$15.99, which is a great meal to eatwhile youre watching your favoritefootball game. If youd like to dine in,there is a dining area where you canchat with Mike as he cooks, you canpick up your food, or have it deliveredwithin a five-mile radius. This in-cludes Trinitys Foxwood, ThousandOaks East, down to East Lake HighSchool, west to the Darlington area, and as far north as just south of NewPort Richeys Main Street.

Whether you are one of The Bestof Philly Cheesesteak Houses regularsthat affectionately have earned a nick-name, such as Friday Matt, Sports TalkRodney, or Mushroom Melissa, or ifyoure a first-timer, you will not be dis-appointed with the delicious food youare served and the customer serviceyou receive.

If you need any type of door, window or components, visit CustomWindows and Doors of Pasco(CW&D). Family owned and oper-ated by the Leggiere family for thenearly 22 years that it has occupied thecorner of US 19 and Grand Boulevardin Port Richey, CW&D has earned astellar reputation for fair pricing, excel-lent service and honesty.

Custom Windows and Doors ofPasco was founded by Bob and CaroleLeggiere. Bob passed away September16, 2012. I am fortunate to have metwith Bob a few times over the pastyears. Sitting at his desk, Bob wouldlean in a bit and in his straightforward,no-nonsense manner, he told me ex-actly what set CW&D apart. Workingalongside his sons Gary and Bob Jr.,Bob left a legacy that the Leggierefamily continues exemplary serviceprovided in a no-pressure sales envi-ronment with knowledgeable staff andskilled installation.

Recently, Carole, who assumed aleadership role as President of thecompany, invited me to come and

meet a few of the great people that arepart of the CW&D family.

Gary Leggiere is the Vice Presi-dent of Sales and Marketing, and likehis father, he does everything possibleto make certain that every customer iscompletely satisfied. I dont give up,says Gary. If someone is having aproblem such as a hard-to-fit opening,I will exhaust all resources to accom-modate people. I spoke with a cus-tomer who experienced this dedicationfirsthand. Diane of Port Richey andher husband John have used CW&Dquite a few times throughout the yearsand for a couple of different proper-ties. Diane says, We found a very un-usual door style that we wanted and ofcourse it was outrageously expensive, but Gary and Lydia researched and re-searched and found one for much less.Since we moved to Florida in 93, wehave been to Custom Window andDoors for windows, shutters anddoors most recently on our condo. They are excellent! Of course, weknew Bob and miss him, but Garylives in the business. He knows itbackwards and forwards.

    Assisting Gary and handling the

job scheduling for installa-tions and repair services isLydia Blotta. Im the fa-cilitator, teases Lydia, who literally keeps trackof everything the com-pany is doing in four dif-ferent counties. Lydia isa tremendous help, saysCarole. She is energeticand the customers loveher! Not only does Lydiatake great care of the cus-tomers, she is a gourmetcook and often brings theoffice crew to-die-for lunches.

Another friendly face is Todd Part-low, Sales Rep and Troubleshooter, who truly enjoys working with the cus-tomers to help them find the windowsand doors that they want, careful towork within their budget. Todd hasbeen part of the CW&D family since itopened almost 22 years ago. Withmany years of experience earned whileworking as an installer for the company,Todd is able to bring a workmansknowledge to the sales floor. He alsobrings dedication. A lot of times peo-

ple have a hard time visualizing whatthe different doors and windows styleswill look like so we can go to the siteand take a picture, then we have a cou-ple of computer programs where theyliterally try out different doors to findwhat they like.

I also met Raphael Sasso, akaRalphie, the master craftsman workingbehind the scenes building doors at aseparate location, three doors south ofthe main building. Carole recallsmeeting Ralphie in 03, We wereworking on a very big job and were

Ralphie describes his work styleas, between old-school and contem-porary. He adds, I learned from oldcraftsmen some are gone now butI have continued to work with newmaterials such as composites, plasticsand fiberglass, which are extremelydurable and a big advantage in a cli-mate like Florida.

If you want a beautifully stained

or painted door, Ralphie works hand-in-hand with Cynthia Sands-Nelson ofChic Impression in St. Pete. Carolesays, The doors she does always lookgreat and she stands behind herwork.

Because grout is a porous mate-rial, trying to remove stains is seem-ingly impossible. BJ explains, Colorsealing grout lines is one of the manyservices we offer and it is definitely themost effective way to create a perfect,

new look. Using a step-by-stepprocess, Grout Tech begins by using acleansing product to remove all bacte-ria and surface dirt with special ma-chinery. They will then apply a colorseal (of your choice).

Once the sealer is applied thegrout lines will be permanently pro-tected from any stains.

The color seal also guarantees againstcracking, chipping and peeling. Addition-ally, they will also cosmetically fix or re-place chipped or cracked tiles, makingyour bathroom or kitchen tile like new

In 2009, Seven Springs MiddleSchool (SSMS) was looking for a wayto raise funds to supplement the tech-nology at the school, and togetherwith their creative and inventivePTSO, headed up by President andEvent Coordinator, Diana Jerome,The Taste of Trinity was born. Theidea was a great one; pitched as achance for many local restaurants andbusinesses to set up tables and offersomething tasty to the guests whilesharing information about their busi-nesses. The best part? Everyone lovedit, and every year The Taste of Trinityhas been an event not to be missed, embraced by the businesses in Trinityand enjoyed by residents young andold.

Taste of Trinity 5 took place onSaturday, September 14th, and for just$5 per person, or $15 for a family-four-pack, Trinity residents got a bigtaste of what our community has tooffer. The Taste of Trinity 5 (TOT5)was the largest of its kind, featuringnearly 80 local businesses and vendors

that offered something savory orsomething sweet at each table.

The food is always a huge draw, and this year did not disappoint.Guests enjoyed a sampling from manyof Trinitys favorite spots, includingslices of pizza from Westshore Pizza, goodies from Publix and desserts sup-plied by Sugar Darlings Cones &Cupcakes. Every vendor offered some-thing to taste and between the greatfood and the entertainment, it was anawesome experience to see all of thepeople in our community come to-gether to support the school.

In fact, for many it was the warmfeeling of community that took centerstage, and many people attributed thatto Diana Jerome who once again puttogether another amazing event. Thefifth Taste of Trinity was more than afundraiser, it was a dining and retailextravaganza that both entertainedand informed guests.

Jerome said, What an incredibleevent we had this year! The bestyet! 79 vendors and 1,000 patrons! We raised $12,000 for the students ofour great middle school. She added,

This will go a long way towards en-hancing the technological needs of thestudents. Technology is rapidly chang-ing, and we need to keep up. For ex-ample, ten years ago we were stillusing something called film in cam-eras. Now, adults and children aliketake thousands of digital photos with-out ever buying a roll of film.

This years event was sponsoredby Ferman Chrysler, who brought anarray of beautiful Jeep and Chryslervehicles, The Pasco County MountedPolice Department, who were onhand (and hoof), The Pasco CountyFire Department and Keep it Local. The entire day was jam-packed withlive music, dance performances andcompetitions, karate demonstrations, and even a Wings Blazin Challengeput on by Buffalo Wild Wings.

Family FUNdraising! With so many vendors, restau-

rants and local businesses represented,it would be impossible to name themall, but as a whole, TOT5 was partbusiness expo, part fundraiser, and allparty. This year, in addition to the out-

door campus and the cafeteria, thegymnasium was opened to allow forthe many new vendors who wanted toparticipate. Astro Skate, who had beenoutside in the past, had an indoorbounce house in the gym where thekids bounced the day away, and theSPCA and Rugaz Rescue were in thecourtyard with a few of their sweet an-imals who needed homes, and let metell you, they were melting hearts leftand right. Not too far away, Pony TailsFarm brought some of their furriestanimals from the farm to play with, and kids of all ages made funny facesin the Photo Booth Rental, whichtook and printed retro-style photos injust a couple of minutes. The J.W.Mitchell Jazz Band performed beauti-fully in the cafeteria, and the dancersat Kellys Dance Academy had a play-ful dance-off with members of DanceExtreme Academy!

More than entertainment and funfor the kiddos, The Taste of Trinity 5was a great way for local residents tomeet medical professionals like Dr.Unger from Florida Wellness andRehab, the staff from Trinity Pediatric

Dentistry, and The Medical Center ofTrinity, just to name a few.

Everyone seemed to enjoy perus-ing the many tables and running intofriends and neighbors. Something foreveryone, businesses like RamblinRhodes Music, Fox Hollow Golf &Country Club, Publix, St. Peter theApostle Catholic Church, MacKinnonJewelers, Trinity Yoga & Massage andThirty-One Gifts. Each vendor had

the opportunity to share information, give coupons and even giveawayprizes.

Mark Shea said, [Diana Jerome]is the bomb, and Trinity is fortunateto have the teachers, the principal, thestudents and the parents that work to-gether to make a tremendous day likethis occur. My hat is off to everyoneinvolved!

    Principal Chris Dunning was on

hand for the festivities and as always, said that he appreciated how the com-munity came out to support theschool.

Jerome said, The support thatthis event has received from the com-munity has really blown us all away, and we hope that with each year, theevent continues to grow.

Special thanks goes out to all ofthe businesses who participated in

this successful event and helped toraise money for SSMS, and to theadministration of SSMS whoopened up their school to our com-munity. When you haveyour carpets professionally cleaned youcan enjoy fresher air quality, as well asa more beautifully floor!

Since your carpet acts like a giantair filter, it is better to be clean or itwill not clean the air in your homeproperly, says Mike. Most peoplewith pets are amazed at how much pethair and dander can come from evensmall pets, which usually ends up onthe floor. Regular carpet cleaning canremove most, if not all of this by regu-lar periodic carpet cleaning.

Fiesta Steering Committee. Michael explains what he believes

sets The Cox Wilkins Group apart,The biggest difference is our holisticviewpoint of clients financial positions. We take into consideration all aspectsof their life. Avery and I have very de-fined processes in which we manageclient relationships and listen to theirexpectations for their investments. Be-cause we are affiliated with the PrivateClient Group of Wells Fargo Advisors,we generally dont have any limitationson investment products. Other finan-cial advisors may be limited because ofthe firm they work for or by the li-censes that they hold we just donthave those limitations.

    He adds, The client experience

that our clients have is muchmore holistic. We dont let theproduct dictate what the plan isfor the client. Often I use thisanalogy if you work at a cardealership where all you sell isFords, then you think everyoneshould drive a Ford. We dontjust sell Fords. We sort offunction as the clients CFO andwe look at both sides of the bal-ance sheet. We examine their li-abilities, such as credit card debtthat they dont know what todo to get under control.

Avery Wilkins, Associate VicePresident Investments, began his ca-reer in the financial services industryworking on Wall Street while still incollege. He earned his Bachelor of Sci-ence degree in finance from WagnerCollege. He has been a licensed Fi-nancial Advisor since 1999. I reallyenjoy the day-to-day interaction withclients, says Avery, who focuses ongiving clients the individual attentionthey want, providing follow-through.Avery doesnt mind sweating the de-tails and enjoys knowing he is puttingin honest, hard work for The Cox Wilkins Groups clients. He explainswhy open communication is so vitallyimportant in his job, saying, Whenyou go to a new doctor, he asks you a

lot of questions and here, it is thesame thing. If we dont know financialparts of your life, we miss somethingimportant. We want to help make ourclients a success.

Clients find it easy to talk toAvery, who served in the U.S. Army, and spent 29 years as an Executivewith Chrysler Corporation in theirMarketing Investment Division beforemaking a career move into the finan-cial services industry. Avery and hisfamily have lived in the area since1993. He enjoys family time, playingwith his new granddaughter, golf andcheering on the Tampa Bay Bucca-neers, as well as working on home im-provement projects. He serves on thePasco County Housing Finance Au-thority.

The Cox Wilkins Group also in-cludes Branch Liaison Lauren Stublerand Operations Clerk Craig Liven-good. Lauren entered the financial in-dustry in 2008. Lauren handles thedaily administrative operations for TheCox Wilkins Group and providesclients with friendly, competent serv-ice. Craig is a senior at USF pursuing adegree in finance and enjoys workingclosely with the team to learn how tomake a difference in clients lives.
