Dear Parents

This is Week 2 and we specailly welcome our Love children back to Kindy.

Many were also excited to be back after the very long stay @ home.

Before they head out to the 4 allocated outdoor play areas for the different classes……

Yes… all the children play and interact only with their friends from the same class.

All had to go through temperature screening and putting up their attendance photos ….

What a great week this has been for all.

Everyone, especially the Love children were comfortable having to keep their masks on @ Kindy.

There were no incidents of any children refusing to comply

Thank you Parents for helping the children to adapt to this new routine of wearing their masks / face shields.

Matthew brought along his remote control. He switches it on and off by flicking a switch.

Manya showed her hourglass. She noted that there was pink sand inside.

Daniel was excited to show off Caitlin to his classmates. He switched on Caitlin and showed the moving wheels.

Lorraine showed her favourite page to the class and counted 4 gingerbread men.

Kaelyn brought a Police cargo plane and showed her friends the different types of cars that go into the plane.


Discovery Corner

It was a test of their fine motor skills….

They had to peel the backing of the small square foam stickers (1cm x 1cm)

and paste them on the starting letter of their name.

And they patiently sat through (approximately 20 minutes) to complete the task.


Aesthetics (Music & Movement)

Some of the movements involved them sitting on an “egg” and shaking their hips vigorously!

The Peace children sang one of their favourite songs at Circle time,

a song about a Fountain that flows deep and wide!

They also challenged themselves to spread their limbs as wide as they could

as they sang along to the song 😊
