Caira’s hat is handmade using recycled materials!

She demonstrated the use of the rubber strap to secure the hat on her head.

Christy moved the legs of her dinosaur and said “my dinosaur is dancing!”

Joshua picked up this brochure from the NDP 2019 Fun Pack.

He mentioned that these vehicles were part of the Mobile Column during the Parade this year.

Mass Activity

Concert practice is incorporated in our Fun and Movement activities!

It is not just preparation for our upcoming concert…

Different skills can be taught to the children as they sought to:

- listen to instructions,

- form lines and stay with their assigned groups

- move together as a group without being left out

- move to the position that was allocated to the group…


Aesthetics (Cooking)

Ingredients (bread, ham and cheese) and

equipment (sandwich makers – had 3 of them) are all ready ……

Yes … it’s gonna be Ham & Cheese Sandwich !!!!

Really quite a breeze for all … even the Love children …

Get a slice of bread, ham and cheese … fold it into two : rectangle or triangle …


Ooh … the Love children feeling the heat of the sandwich maker;

the Peace & Joy children made brave attempts to place their sandwiches onto the sandwich maker…

And patiently they watched and waited ….


the transformation before their very eyes …. Unmistakable Sight and Smell …..

Aesthetics (Music & Movement)

Love 1

The little ones were introduced to a new musical instrument called the handbells!

They learned to listen out for the difference in pitch and had a go.

They held the handbell with one hand and rung it a few times.

The children got excited and suggested playing the melody of “Jingle Bells”.

Since the handbells could also be pressed at the top instead of ringing with their hands,

it made it simpler for the Love 1 children to be guided along

to play the melody of their song request-“Jingle Bells”!
