The Action Plan has already begun and there are lots of activities for everyone to get involved in to make the vision for Grahame Park a reality! These include:
What is it?The Grahame Park Action Plan aims to help you get involved with your community and help make it a better place for you to live. It will coordinate activities in Grahame Park and provide you with the best services and opportunities.
Local groups and organisations have created this new action plan, our vision is to create:
Our action plan for you and your community
Skills, employment and enterprise Give you opportunities to develop your skills and have access to training and advice that will provide you with routes into employment
Communications and information Keep you well-informed of all the opportunities, services and activities available for you
Community safety Ensure neighbourhood safety by preventing crime and anti-social behaviour
Public spaces and community facilities
Create popular and well used parks, play areas and a new community centre
Community engagement and cohesion Engage you in making decisions about developing and creating opportunities for everyone
Health and wellbeing Improve your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing by making sure you have access to support and advice

A strong, thriving and prosperous community where different people come together, feel safe happy and proud to live.
We are doing this by focusing on the key areas you have told us are important to you, some of which were:
Build a place for activitiesMore training opportunities and courses for people who are on benefits or not in education.
A safer community.
More activities for children especially during the holidays, ie. Brownies club, a park, games.
More activities for women such as sewing, sports, cooking, training opportunities.
