THE COSTUMES The costumes that we used for the filming were the clothes that we wore to school, these clothes were appropriate for the filming as the clothes are supposed to be what people ware in everyday life. However we did try ware black, a reason why we used this was down to the colour black having the connotations of death, fear and the unknown. another reason for this is that it would help if when we put filters into the scenes as some filters that we might want to use could distort the colours of the cloths taking away the affect. We also used the costumes of the characters to reflect their persona within the opening sequence. As we filmed on two different days when had to make are that the character we were filming were waring the same clothes on each of the days and that the conditions for filming were the same in order to keep it realistic.

THE PROPS THE SWISS ARMY KNIFE The few props that we used for the filming was a Swiss army knife, fake blood and a phone. The reason why we used the Swiss army knife is down to the face that we had to use an appropriate knife to fit the film as the knife had to be achievable to obtain for the filming and it had to achievable of a teenage girl to get, this is why we didn’t use a machete or a big hunting knife as it wouldn’t fit the story line of the girl as It could take away the realism from the clip as tis could be unrealistic to the viewer, another reason is that a pocket knife is discrete enough of carrying around in public and for a girl such as the teenager in the clip to hide the knife.

THE FAKE BLOOD The reason for us using the fake blood is down as it would add realism to the clip and allow the viewer to understand that the character has been stabbed, if we didn’t use fake blood it would takeaway from realism for the clip and not reaching our target audience. Other reasons for this is that it is easy to carry around and easy to clear up off of the floor.

THE I PHONE The use of the phone prop is a easy way to relate to the target audience this would also be through adding tension as they wouldn’t know who the person is on the other side of the phone, this is used to build tension as they would want to keep watching to learn more. This is emphasised through the text message in the clip of target achieved which was sent to an unknown number.
