CBA Events are proud to offer you outstanding and unforgettable activities based in and around thegrounds of the hotel. We are delighted to offer activities exclusively for visitors to The Daffodil Hotel& Spa. The activities listed below can be tailored to suit your individual requirements and times andeach of them are designed and delivered by our friendly and experienced instructors.

Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP)We’re passionate about Stand up Paddleboarding andguarantee you will be too after you try this fun, excitingand enjoyable activity. SUP is currently one of thefastest growing watersports and after joining us for asession you’ll understand why. A fantastic way to spendany time on this beautiful English lake.

ArcheryChannel your inner Robin Hood and learn theancient skill of archery with one of our recurvetarget bows. Our qualified and experiencedinstructor will provide expert tuition for first timeand skilled archers alike. Great fun competition forall the family.

CanoeingJoin us for a fun and leisurely canoeingexperience where we’ll teach you the basiccanoeing and paddling techniques. Journey intothe quiet bays around the lake shores to visit themost secret of locations. You’ll spot some of ourlocal wildlife and play some canoe games.

Off Site Activities

Alongside our great on site activities at the Daffodil Hotel & Spa we also offer fantastic off site activities.These will give you the opportunity to combine the great Lake District outdoors with experiences you’llnever forget. All of the activities listed below are only a short drive from the hotel, alternatively why notallow us to arrange transport for you (at an additional cost). Your time on the activities will be spent funfilled and with our experienced instructors who will guide you to become brilliant at what ever activityyou choose.

Ghyll ScramblingGhyll scrambling is a white water thrill that’s sure to giveyou an adrenaline rush. You’ll experience a mountain riverfrom a different angle – the water’s point of view. Thisactivity includes scrambling up rocks and waterfalls, slidingdown gorges and jumping into deep pools. What isessential to have a safe passage through the ghyll isteamwork and collaboration.

4x4 Off Road DrivingOff Road Driving is definitely our most popularactivity in the Lake District. Lumps, bumps andcamel humps. Controlled acceleration and axelarticulation. CBA Events will bring you the best4x4 experience by far! Get behind the wheel ofone of our Land Rover Defenders and take on ourvery own, professionally built natural off roaddriving course, the only one of its kind in the LakeDistrict with stunning views over lakeWindermere.

Clay Pigeon ShootingWhether you’re a novice or an experienced shooter, you’llenjoy and benefit from time spent with our instructors.From simulated teal, high pheasant or running hare, wehave a range of targets to provide exhilarating competitionregardless of your prior experience.

Rib Ride ExperienceJoin us on-board our BRIG Navigator 610, brandnew for the 2017 season. The craft can be usedfor a thrilling ride, a water taxi from Bowness, ascenic lake tour, a ski, kneeboard or wakeboardexperience, a team treasure hunt and more. Thecost below is per hour but what we do duringthat hour is very much up to you!
