TANGIPAHOA PARISH FAIR SENIOR QUEENS. On Thursday, September 29 the Tangipahoa Parish Fair Senior Queen pageant was held at the fair grounds. During the Tangipahoa Voluntary Council on Aging Senior Citizen’s Queen Day the spotlight was turned to the Coronation of the 2011 Queen Ms. Dorothy Hinton of Independence. Pictured seated is 2009 Senior Queen Elaine Rogers, 2011 Senior Queen Dorothy Hinton, 1997 Senior Queen Ola Mae Porter and 2002 Senior Queen Shirley Carroll. The 2010 Miss Tangipahoa Parish Fair Queen Nicole Sharp attended the event and is pictured standing with the ladies.

2011 SENIOR TANGIPAHOA PARISH FAIR QUEEN DORTHY HINTON. Ms. Hinton was crowned at a ceremony held at the fair grounds on Thursday, September 29. She is from Independence.
