    Introduction

    1. DescriptionoftheProblem-Theproblemwearemeasuringistheviewsof

    TuskegeeUniversitystudentsonintentionalinflictionofpainonthebodyfor

    thepurposeofpunishment,whichisclassifiedasSpankingandCorporal

    Punishment.

    2. AttributestobemeasuredWearemeasuringsuchattributes,asthe

    opinionsandbeliefsTuskegeeuniversitystudentshaveonspankingand

    CorporalpunishmentmyPerceptionsisthattheviewswillvarydepending

    oniftheindividualreceivedspankingsfromhisorherparents.Thefindings

    willalsobecomparedwithdifferentvariablesandvaluesineffortstobetter

    obtainamoredetailedconclusion.Itismybeliefthatmostmenandwomen

    arefavorabletowardspankingandcorporalpunishment.

    3. Hypothesis-IhypothesizethatmajorityofTuskegeeUniversitystudents

    agreewithSpankingandCorporalfordisciplinaryuse.HoweverIexpectmy

    findingstoshowahugedisparityintheviewsofmenonspankingand

    Corporalpunishmentversestheviewsofwomen.Iwillusesuchtoolsasa

    bivariatetableandmultivariatetopresentthesefindings.SincemostAfrican

    AmericanspracticeSpankingIstronglyfeelstudentswillsupportspanking

    asawhole.

    4. Istronglyfeelthatmyfindingswillshowthatgenderwillhasmostdisparity.

    Conclusion

    InconclusionthrewtheresearchgatheredIwasabletosupportmyhypothesiswith

    myfindingsandillustratethemthrewgraphs,charts,andtables.AlsoIused

    bivariatetablestosupportseveralkeyfactsthatIfoundinmyresearchaswellas

    multivariatetablestosupportmyfindings.Spankingandcorporalpunishmentisa

    verycontroversialissueandwillremainonaslongasparentscontinuethepractice.

    HowevermanyyoungTuskegeestudentsfeelastheywillnotspanktheirchildrenas

    ameansofdiscipline.ThevastdisparitywasfoundinageasIstatedinmy

    hypothesisitwouldbe.ThereforeIconcludethatspankingandCorporal

    punishmentisusedcommonlybyparentsasameansofdisciplineandmostyoung

    TuskegeeStudentsdonotagreewiththosemethodshoweverupperclassmen21-24

    believetheywillpracticespankingontherechildren.

    This questionnaire is meant to assess the views and opinions on spankingand Corporal punishment of Tuskegee University students about Views onSpanking and Corporal punishment .It fulfills a course requirement forSOWK 300.please do not write your name on this questionnaire.
