S.L.A.M.M. (Support Local Artists Movement Magazine) was created by accomplished Poet /Author / Spoken Word Artist / Actress / Model / Entrepreneur Lenise "NuNuu" Smith of Hartford, CT. Smith came up with the concept of S.L.A.M.M. as a fresh new approach to show-casing "local" talent, venue, artists, events, and more. Through combining her various talents, Smith has created a publication that caters to talented individuals, groups and companies across the board. S.L.A.M.M. knows no bounda-ries. The idea of S.L.A.M.M. is to begin and be the primary cata-lyst for a movement within the artists community to sup-port each other with a goal of pushing everyone to the top of their field of expertise. S.L.A.M.M. is an international plat-form for "local" artists of all genres. "Local" is relative to where you are. S.L.A.M.M. is a quarterly publication that will be internet based in its infancy, but will grow rapidly into a publication that will be available on newsstands world-wide. Through strong presence and involvement with the artists community S.L.A.M.M. will bring to you all access passes to the life and times of the local artists you support and want to see succeed. Each issue of S.L.A.M.M. will offer to the readers an absolutely unmatched reading experience which is guaranteed to titillate your senses and get you involved in the movement to support the local artists in our communi-ties.
