When you are a Rumanian and you want to buy something from a small neighborhood shop, you will be surprised to see that the seller doesnt speak Romanian, although he lives in our country. Their problem is that they still think that they were the first who occupied that territory. AmnesiaAgain an example from Romania for this other sin is the Revolution from 1989 and the fact that people tend to forget what some politicians did during that hard period of our country, and keep giving them the power to lead us, by voting them over and over again.Professional myopiaA good example for professional myopia could be the case of a math teacher who teaches math in a music college and pretends that their students have to learn at the same level as the students of a college with an intensive maths teaching. The students from the music collage want to become musicians and not mathematicians. That means they should have only a basis of the maths and not become Olympics at this subject.Conceptual mix-upAn example of conceptual mix-up could be the head nodding. In most of the countries that means Yes, but in Bulgaria this means No. This can be really confusing when talking with a Bulgarian.

Academic polemicsThe most common polemic could be the provenience of human beings. Scientists consider the fact that humans evolved from an earlier species which Monkeys also evolved from, but the religion keeps saying that God created us. There are proves on both sides, so it depends on you what you choose to believe. Level confusionAn example of level confusion can be the culture of gipsys. Most of the people think that all the gipsys steal. This cant be the case of each individual gipsy, because not every gipsy does that, but people tend to think this about them.
