Getting Started: The Setup Wizard
Segmentation1
Segmenting your database helps you to organize your customers. In AddressTwo you can categorize them two* ways: by the products they buy from you and/or the status they have in your company (customer, lead, former customer, etc.).
*Other custom segmentation options are available, but these are what you will start with in the setup wizard.
Primary ProductThis drop down will contain the different product types your customers buy from you. You’ll fill it in with your business’ product types. Here are some examples from different businesses:
Insurance type

• Manicure• Pedicure• Hot stone

Customer StatusHow do you classify the status of your customers? You probably use terms like lead, prospect, hot lead, customer, and former customer.

User Logins2
Anyone in your company can have access as one of AddressTwo’s unlimited users, but you’ll need to create a user login* for them here.
*You’ll want to send them their username and password so that they can access the system.
Advanced Settings:• CC tasks to- You can
have a task list for each user CC’ed to you or another supervisor. This is one of many reporting measures in A2.
• User Role- There are four different user types you can assign to each user. The graphic on the next slide will explain.

Sender Profile3
Your sender profile is how you will send marketing emails in AddressTwo. It’s important to set it up so that you can start using it once you’re in the system.
Adding Contacts4
Here you will add three of your primary and important customers. Who is fresh in your memory that you will need to follow up with in the next month or so of using AddressTwo?
+Additionally, this is what the “NEW” button looks like in AddressTwo. It’s located at the top center of your dashboard for when you need to add new contacts individually later.
Launch5
Whether you add the rest of your contacts individually or through a CSV file (now or later), you are ready to launch directly onto your dashboard and begin using AddressTwo.
CSV• It is important that all of your
data be CLEANED before it is uploaded. Clean means: All data neatly in columns One contact per row No empty rows All column headers labeled
Dashboard• Adding contacts from your
dashboard is as simple as clicking the “NEW” ( ) button at the top/center and filling in as much information as you can about each contact and account you want in your AddressTwo system.
