Politically we have a tendency to subdivide ourselves into ho-

mogeneous groups. Groups of people we identify with or feel com-

fortable. So we have Mexican-Americans, African-Americans, Italian-

    Americans, Chinese-Americans, Japanese-Americans, Polish-

Americans, Indian-Americans, and anything else you can think of.

Are you surprised, then, that we do the same thing religiously?

    Catholic-Christians, Baptist-Christians, Evangelical-Christians, Holi-

ness-Christians, even Church of Christ-Christians. No wonder Jesus

prayed for unity of believers. Can’t we all be just plain Christians?

26So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27for all

of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with

Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is

there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29If you be-

long to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to

    the promise.

    Galatians 3:26-29

    Just Pondering

    Paul’s Ponders

    Cristo, han terminado con el pecado. Palabras para compartir;

Nuestros pensamientos rigen

nuestras acciones, nuestras palabras y nuestros habitos.
