THIS WEEK AT ST. AMBROSE

The Feast of the Holy Trinity! Dear friends: on this

Feast of the Holy Trinity, or God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit I will like to pose this question: Which member of the Holy Trin-ity; God the Father, the Son, or the Holy Spirit, do we find that

we turn to most in prayer and why?

Do we turn to God the Father the one who has created everything that we have and who is known as our protector? Do we turn to Jesus, the Son of God, who walked the earth and showed us how we

are to love one another especially those who are mar-ginalized. Or do we pray to the Holy Spirit who serves as our guiding light and source of strength? That inner voice that keeps us focused on the ways of God. All three Persons of the Holy Trinity have an im-

portant role to play in our Spiritual life because all three roles help us to better understand who God is and how God as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit can indeed help us in our response. Understanding the concept of the Trinity can be difficult but may we never let that stop us from drawing from the richness of the Trinity. God’s continued peace, Fr. Yvon

P.S. St. Peter's will be hosting a Life in the Spirit Seminar

Prayer meeting on Sunday June 3rd from 1- 3pm in the Parish Hall. All Life in the Spirit Seminar participants are encouraged to join us.

Annual Bishop Fund Appeal Last weekend we did our In-Pew Commitment Week-

end phase of the 2018 Bishop’s Annual Appeal. Love is always a gift from God and with these gifts we are able to help so many families . If you were not here or did not receive your Bishop Appeal envelope, you may find one today in back of the Church. Visit bishopsappealvt.org for more information about your

gift at work.

ing to open soon. They are also in need of a cashier on Thurs. and Fri. afternoons. Please give the rectory a call at 877-2367 if you can help.

Did you know that when you give to The Baby Bottle

Campaign you’re giving mothers support services? The

PRC of Addison County offers pregnancy testing,

counseling, and classes for new moms to earn diapers

and clothes for their babies while learning important

parenting skills. Help us change lives by filling bottles

with change!
