Front cover

Record Label

The name of the band is the biggest text on the page to clarify straight away who the album belongs to and below it is the name of the track.

The image of the band members will help to increase the relationship between the band and the fans through a visual interaction.

The title of the track is ‘ Paid to get Excited ‘ this matches the choice of background on the front cover, palm trees and a broadening horizon is a stereotypical exciting location.

Back Cover

The list of tracks made by the band will further increase reputation of the artist by encouraging customers to listen to their other music as well as what they are paying for.

The barcode and publishing rights have to be included on every album and are usually positioned at the bottom of the CD.

The background of the back cover gives off a very dark and mysterious feel and therefore may provide an insight into the genre of music the artist performs.

The symbol representing compact discs.

Outside Middle

There is a clear reference to another media text, the famous image of the Beatles walking across the zebra crossing. The comparison made by Butch Walker suggests that they value their music as similar to that of the British Rock Band being Rock.

Inside Covers

The images of the band members with their music suggests they are all about their music and not influenced to change their music by big money companies.

Whereas on the front cover we are given a clear image of the band members, on the inside cover only dark figures are shown perhaps suggesting there is an essence of darkness or depression in their music or in fact there is two sides to the work they play.
