OBJECTIVE OF THE

PRESENTAION

To find out the problems related towards selling of their

baked and confectionary items.

To find out the promotional efforts took by the shop to

overcome it.

To prepare a SWOT analysis for their business.

To give some suggestions to improve their business and

emerge as competitor to other bake hubs in the city of

Vellore.

BAKED & CONFECTIONARIES

ITEMS

Confectionery is the art of making confections, which are food items that are rich in sugar and carbohydrates.

In general, though, confectionery is divided into two broad and somewhat overlapping categories, bakers' confections and sugar confections.

In India we inherited this habit of eating these food items from English and other Middle East People.

Bakery’s have been classified into many categories in this modern era.

Into Pizza Stalls, Fast Food Outlets, Food Chains etc..

Baker’s Hub come into this sort of Category.

AN OVERVIEW ABOUT FAST

FOOD CHAIN IN INDIA Indians are very well known for their Cultural Heritage.

The culture plays a pre-dominant role.

Especially Indians, we have a habit of giving too much preference to food items. Since we live in a country where we have different languages, caste, community, religion around the country we have different type of food also.

The pizza industry is a highly competitive and mature market. There are many pizza markers ranging from local pizzerias to international franchises.

Such as Domino’s and pizza hut. With the current health kick in today’s society many companies are being forced to make healthier, cheaper products.

As we live in the modern frequency we have a lot of

Food Chains coming into the Indian Market. Eg. Pizza

Corner, McDonald’s, Marry Brown, KFC etc…

The reason being that is Indian Market has a tendency to

adapt to the changing circumstances. Everyone needs

change.

As of now we have a lot of food chains coming into the

Indian Market. This opens up the competition for all sort

of players.

It’s a huge boost to the economic and industrial aspects

of the country.

PROFILE OF BAKER’S HUB

Bakers Hub was established in May 1st 2013.

It is located on Chittor Main Road, Opp. To Louie Philip

Showroom, Vellore.

It a bakery hub which is been into the production and

selling of baked and confectionaries items to the peple

of Vellore.

We believe that the food you eat, besides being good

quality, should also taste great. That is the reason why

we offer a variety of items and a wide array of choices,

to delight the customer.

With the main aim of giving good quality of foods and

services to customers.

It acts as a full service restaurant as well as delivery

services.

Specialized in making of Pizza, Burger, Sandwich etc..

Good quality foods is being produced by the outelt.

WEAKNESS

High price

Location was not attractive

Still fewer outlets

Advertisings are very less

Parking facilities

OPPORTUNITIES

More outlets should be opened in & around the city.

Have a big chance to capture the market since there is

less competition.

Attractive offer should be given to customers.

Diversification in products.

THREATS

Threat from Dominos pizza, also from VFC who have

tried to introduce a new dish that is a Pizza.

Health conscious to people. Since it has a lot of fat.

The rising prices of special ingredients used in pizzas.

Location and environment is not much attractive.

No variety of pizza’s available.

Poor Ambience.

Lack of brand awareness.

Better to go for Sky media advertising that will

attract the kids.

Flashing the brand name frequently through

commercial ads.

Prepare wedding pizza’s with name of groom

and bride.

Bring automated espresso coffee machine in

public places.

Give free toys to kids with the name of Baker

Hub.

Serve free lemon juice for refreshing

The delivery and follow up have to be

maintained at a high level, where they can

ensure that they give 100% success.

The ambience of the shop has to be changed as

per the trend.

The whole business set up have to changed as

per the requirement.
